Extremely Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Staff
I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever. Despite clearly requesting a non-smoking room at the time of booking, and showing this in my confirmed reservation, I was given a smoking room. When I pointed this out to the receptionist, Lee Darin, she showed no understanding, flexibility, or respect. Instead, she had the audacity to ask me to pay extra to get the non-smoking room I had already reserved.
This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The lack of basic customer service and respect for confirmed bookings made this stay deeply unpleasant. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel if they care about professionalism or comfort.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel's location is also very convenient.
The complimentary breakfast buffet is very convenient and helps you save money.
The only thing that is missing is a small gym.
I'd recommend the Toyoko Inn to any traveler.

The hotel may be a little old, but the service is superb. The staff were very accommodating—three of them assisted me when I forgot my passport in their safe box. I didn’t get all their names, but special thanks to Ms. Kim who helped me over the phone. They made sure my passport was delivered to me quickly. Truly excellent service.

Fantastic service, excellent location and a clean room. Very generous room size for a solo traveller and it is amazing to have a bathtub in a room! My room was away from the elevator and so quiet. I didn't have breakfast but they looked very delicious and there were many options with a lot of sidedish. I would like to come back later if I visit Daejeon again.

Nice hotel, very friendly staffs. It took 13 mins walk from the metro station line 1 to hotel. Breakfast was complimentary with the room.
