The Aurum Subrahmanya

The place itself is nice. They tried to provide excellent service until we got Food Poisoning. The night staff was helpful and they got the doctor (Dr. Vikram Shetty) to come in the middle of the night, and he is amazing. He saw us the next day at the hospital to run tests and IV and called us many times to ensure our safety. In the morning the GM was very bad. He totally denied their responsibility, even though we only ate and drank at the hotel and pinpointed a specific drink, after which the nightmare started. So, with a high fever, after a sleepless night in the bathroom, definitely wanted to be treated differently. Other than that, the hotel and service by regular staff was great. If you are concerned about the noise, don't stay on the riverside, despite the wonderful views, including crocodiles and birds due to noise from kitchen fan, especially at night. If you are used to different noises, then enjoy the view.

The entire staff of The AURUM is unbelievable. Me and my wife are so humbled by their hospitality. Always ready to serve your needs, whatever it may be. What is so more surprising, was The Aurum MD, Mr. Srivatsya, spend the entire evening with us. Taking us to a nearby river(hotel ground), sat with us, had TEA with us and was so down to earth in entertaining us. The staff even gave a surprise birthday party for me and my wife, Very humbled and touch with their gesture.(photo attached) The entire staff were so down to earth in serving us. It's MD is a role model for it's staff. We have travel all over India, these experience is extraordinary. Thank you "THE AURUM"

Good ambience. Tasty food at the restaurant. Nityanand was polite and helpful. The penthouse is an awesome accommodation. Beautiful views of the Kumaradhara lake and the hills.

1. Excellent location - it's 1km away from the temple, and the rooms oversee the most beautiful view. 2. Atmosphere - very helpful service, we were greeted graciously and all the staff were very nice. 3. Value- the rooms and services provided with it are worth the money, but the food is overpriced. Also be prepared for a solid waiting time after you order. 4. The rooms are clean and pretty well maintained. Once in a while we experienced some electrical issues, but they have a back-up generator, and if any other issues persist they have resolved it almost immediately, which is great :)

I cannot recommend Hotel Aurum Subrahmanya enough! I booked our stay while still in the USA, and even when I had to reschedule, the staff handled everything smoothly and professionally. Upon arrival, my wife and I were greeted with warm hospitality. The staff are the highlight here—extremely polite, efficient, and friendly. They even provided excellent guidance on the best times to visit the temple for a smooth experience. The Highlights: * Cleanliness: Both the room and bathroom were impeccably clean. * Design: The bathroom was modern and ergonomic, and the bed was very comfortable. * Service: World-class coordination from booking to checkout. If you are visiting Subrahmanya, this is undoubtedly the best place to stay. 10/10 recommendation!

Its a new hotel and we were excited for our stay. However, it was not suitable for people who go to the temple for Pooja. They have a strict check out at 11:00am, but the unyielding staff at reception didn't grant even a small extension. If you cross 11am you get hit with penalty. Choose other hotel if you are visiting the holy temple. Additional: Locker did not work Room bell does not work No Local TV channels Toilet flush did not work - Dinesh
