Guy at front desk was so nice. But the elevator wasn’t working and we had lots of luggage to carry so that ******. And the towels had stains on them (but smelled clean)

The awning was rotted and falling off on the outside. That should have been the first sign to just leave. The room was musty and damp. The sheets, blankets and towels were all stained. The paint was falling off the walls and there was mold in the bathroom along the cracks of the walls. The water for the shower never got warm enough and the pillows were tiny and flat. There were bugs on the wall by the window. 100% do NOT recommend staying here. So gross. We will never be back.

Good service. Hotel is what you'd expect for the price. Biggest issue I ran into was unreliable wifi resulting in me being unable to make a zoom meeting. Could get a weak signal from the Taco Bell next door from certain parts of the room but unable to connect to hotel wifi even after trying multiple devices.

No water pressure. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless and the bed was great! On the other side, there was a couple above us arguing until 2 am so getting sleep was at a premium.

The Good:
Check-in was easy. Person behind the counter was helpful.
Bed was comfortable.
The Bad:
Ice machine was broken.
Bathroom door would not close.
Thermostat did not work properly. It was either all on or all off.
Breakfast:
They had a hot bar section, they did not even bother to have anything in it. The bread selections were stale. The waffle batter tasted spoiled. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. Coffee was instant.

The sheets had spots on them, the ice maker did not work, the WiFi was very spotty, and it looked like there was only one person running the whole hotel. Was told there would be continental breakfast and when we got up to go the lights were off and there was no food out.

I was in Ferdinand, IN to view the eclipse at the Monastery Immaculate Conception. This was the only hotel in the area that had rooms, and the price of the hotel room was higher than usual. The room was clean and quiet, and I slept well. There were multiple sockets for all your electronics, although some USB-ports did not work. Saw multiple families who brought their dogs. Breakfast was good, but you can walk to nearby fast food restaurants if you are hungry. A gas station is right next door.

Traveling to this hotel for the eclipse this weekend. We decided to book the room even though it had poor reviews because of convenience. All was well at first with front desk staff. We got the suite for my family of 5. Couldn't use the fold out couch because as we unfolded it there was mouse poop in the sheets and a dead mouse under it. It took them an hour to get to our room even after telling them twice. It really put us on edge after that. I did get a call from management and got a $56 credit for my inconvenience. While I appreciate the credit I did not want to accept that because that should NEVER happen, but I just wanted to be done with the experience. BEWARE!!
