The best hotel in Dali by quality/price in my opinion, super friendly staff, clean, awesome location.

We expected a bit more based on previous reviews. The location is great. The owner let us park our bicycles inside which was nice, but she seemed more busy with other things. Bathroom was clean, but the bed sheets had stains and didn’t look clean. We slept in our own sleeping bags. We booked a larger room than we actually got.

The place is nice but the location that said in trip.com is a car park is tock us to find the place 2h and because we where taking to and agent of trip.com

Facilities: Complete, with air conditioning Sanitation: Very warm and clean Environment: Near the ancient town, convenient transportation Service: I got sick and had a fever in the middle of the night, and the boss was very enthusiastic to tell us the direction of the hospital. I originally booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. I received an urgent notice from my family the next morning and had to rush home. I immediately contacted the hotel to check out. According to the policy, about $150 would be deducted from the prepaid room fee. The hotel said that they would check. It was totally inconsistent with the website. After I booked, they said the website address was inaccurate and they sent me a new location. At first I thought the service was so thoughtful, but after arriving at the hotel I found out that I used another hotel on Ctrip, but I was actually staying in another place. The bed was on the floor and was extremely hard. The other bed was shaky, and the towels and bath towels were dirty and yellow.

It is really difficult to call a taxi in Yunnan, so you must book in advance! The location is close to the west gate of the ancient city. You still have to rent a tram to visit the ancient city. Walking is really tiring🫠
