Qingwafang National Style Courtyard-Style Hotel (Erhai Lake Longkan Wharf)

I’ve visited Dali many times and this is one of the best stays I’ve had. The place is newly constructed and built with love and thoughtfulness, you can see this in many details from the room to the garden. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her husband and chatting with them - they were both super nice, friendly, and caring and time passed quickly. The owner did everything herself, she designed it and she even made the noodle sauce for breakfast herself. I got the room downstairs, it was very big for just myself and had a private garden as well as a tub. You can enjoy a nice bath looking at the garden. The pillow is probably the best I’ve had on this trip and I had a good sleep. The room has smart Control and is comfortable The location is 20 ministers walk from the wharf where you can catch the sunrise. However be aware that at night there aren’t lots of lights on the streets around the hotel, so you should get a Didi. I walked back and had to use my phone flashlight because it was pitch black. It’s away from the touristy parts of the ancient city, so it’s very quiet which was what I wanted! I will come back next time I’m in Dali!

A wonderful stay! The cozy courtyard made me feel right at home, and the high-end décor and amenities exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
