Manxin Dali Old Town Hotel

Beautiful hotel with many Instagramable setup around the hotel. Staff was very helpful to show us around & upgraded our room to one with patio, with nice view of Canshan mountain. 5 mins walk to side gate of Dali ancient city. Overall, great stay.

The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the old town so it is very convenient to move around places. The bed is very comfortable and the place is clean although the hotel looks old.

I booked this place randomly and was pleasantly surprised. As we were staying on the top floor, the ceiling had a panel that could open up remotely with a button on the wall. The curtain was also remote controlled, and the toilet featured an electrical bidet. Other than a swimming pool, the hotel had an onsen which I didn't use as it was hot the few days I stayed there. There were also laundry machines and dryers that could be used freely without any charges, including free detergents. The hotel was well decorated with beautiful flowers and you could also catch the sunset towards the direction of Cangshan. The staff were all very polite, and the front desk staff were helpful with various questions that we had. The hotel is one street away from Dali Old Town. There are restaurants nearby whether inside or outside the old town, as well as convenience stores. The area is also within walking distance from the Sanyue street.
