Jikuo Mijing Garden Hotel (Dali Ancient City)

I had a very comfortable stay here. The environment is great, and it's very clean! As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by the scent of flowers in a lovely little courtyard. Definitely worth it! The staff (especially the ladies) were also wonderful, with excellent service. Thumbs up! 👍

The environment is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast is prepared with such care, and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. You can really feel the owner's dedication in the room's decor – even the faucets are shaped like telephone receivers! It's so pleasant to relax and enjoy the scenery in the courtyard.

Facilities: Well-equipped, including disposable toothbrushes. Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: Nice, the garden is full of flowers. Service: Very good. There are also two adorable cats, Luca and Oli, they're round and fluffy.

The room was fantastic, I absolutely loved it! Especially the strong floral scent that greeted me as soon as I walked in. I particularly adored the honeysuckle, my favorite flower, it was lush and beautiful. The owner's service was also excellent, and the breakfast was well-balanced and nutritious, which I also really loved. Highly recommend!

This room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed linen, which was very soft and skin-friendly. The location is excellent too, very close to the East Gate of the ancient city (the airport shuttle bus goes directly to the East Gate). Plus, the hotel courtyard is full of beautiful flowers, making it feel very pleasant and peaceful. (When you check in, you can ask the front desk before 9 AM for restaurant recommendations.) The places they recommended were relatively good and tasted much better than some of the 'influencer' spots. Remember, do NOT go to places the hotel doesn't recommend!!! (Avoid the '** Bai Ethnic Private Kitchen.' It has many good reviews, but their fried rice was terrible, and the 'Jianshouqing' (a type of mushroom) was sour! The owner even claimed the taste was normal!!!)

The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete. The courtyard was full of flowers and plants, and dining at the outdoor table in the middle of the courtyard was such a pleasure! The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and proactively helped with our luggage. Many thanks!

Hygiene: The room was spotless and felt disinfected; I even noticed a faint scent of disinfectant upon check-in, which was reassuring. They also provided disposable bath towels, which was a nice touch. Environment: Getting to the hotel entrance by car was super convenient. The place itself is beautifully designed in an antique Chinese style, and every corner is picture-perfect. There's also an adorable and friendly orange cat roaming around! Service: Before arrival, I was added to a concierge group, which was very efficient. We missed the breakfast time, but they still brought it to our room, which was fantastic! The duvet was incredibly soft and comfortable; I even asked the owner for a link to buy one myself, haha! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dali.
