I love the view of Yanyuan! It is right in front of the ErHai Lake. You can enjoy a coffee or breakfast with great view!

This place is a gem. The location is much better than we thought, we can see the lake and the mountains when eating breakfast, superb experience during a sunny day. Normal Cars are not allowed on that street but you can rent electric mopeds or bicycles to go along the lakeside. The hosts and the staff were fabulous, had great chats with them, were very friendy and helpful. I would not hesitate to come again, absolutely recommended!!

I spent 5 nights in this place. (2months traveling in China) This hotel is one of the best decision I made. Location is great, a park opposite the hotel with live music.. hotel is clean and spacious comparing to hotel nearby. The manager and staffs are helpful.. very kind.. always response to your request promptly. Tea table and Great Lake view seats are offering. You can get millions$ shots from this hotel. On top of that, they provide washing machines, many types of teas with tea pot for you to experience Yunnan’s flavor…there is also a foot herbal tub which is great of a long bicycle day. This place is definitely one of the best if you are looking for a relaxing journey in Erhai!

This was our first time travelling to Yunnan on our own. Without the hotel staff’s kind help in answering all our questions, we won’t be able to enjoy the beauty of Cai Cun and Erhai Ecological Corridor so much! This hotel really provides top notch guest service especially to non China nationality as foreigners are not familiar with many aspect though we have done a lot of research for this trip.
As other reviewers mentioned, the staff will come with a cart to help with your luggages.
We have used e bike to cover 28km of Erhai ecological corridor and found that this hotel location is the best. Its’ view is superb, few steps from sun rise location, rental of bikes are just at the front of hotel yet is peaceful from big crowd of tourist.
Room service aspect that we love is the Chinese tea set to enjoy while escaping the hot afternoon. The rice noodle breakfast is the best after trying some in Shuhe, Lijiang, Shaxi & Xizhou!

The host was very accommodating, they came to get us and walked our luggage about 5 minutes to the house. They also provided porridge for one of us who had bad food poisoning from the day before we came. When we asked, the host also gave us a very detailed explanation and map of the lake and the good spots that locals like to go to. On our last day we had to leave to take a train and they provided breakfast to-go as we didn’t have time in the morning to eat. Great experience and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Dali
