This hotel truly fulfilled all my expectations for Dali! It's nestled in a quiet spot but still close to everything; step outside and you're in the lively ancient town, yet back in your room, all the unrelated noise just fades away. The white walls and natural wood, paired with the views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, make every photo look like a professional shot. The service is incredibly attentive, with a butler available 24/7. The breakfast is delicious and always hits the spot. The room is spacious and comfortable, and you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake just by opening the window. Even just lying there and daydreaming feels incredibly blissful. Seriously, book this place without hesitation!

The views at Shangshang Shuanglang are absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle – perfect for just chilling out. Shuanglang Ancient Town itself is quite remote and there's not much to see, so I'd recommend staying just one night. The hotel service was excellent, polite and friendly.
