Booked this hotel specifically for the room. View was absolutely stunning and as advertised. They also offered a free photo shoot with 5 unedited photos.
Room was cozy and well equipped. Hairdryer was definitely one of the best we used. There was even a stocked fridge full of drinks, a first for us in China.
Hotel offered pick-up and drop-off at the high speed rail station for our room type. Communication via WeChat and phone were efficient and detailed. Within the Ideal City, hotel offered free transport around with golf carts as there were many levels and no elevators or escalators. Very convenient for those travelling with children or elderly.

酒店派了車去機場接到我們，一路上司機熱情地給我們介紹大理，到了景區門口又有擺渡車把我們送到酒店大堂，因為我們到的時候，房間客人還沒退房，我們辦了入住放下行李就出去了。下午兩點多一點，房間出來，酒店就派了擺渡車接我們回了酒店。房間非常漂亮，整潔，冰箱裏有礦泉水和飲料，都是免費的。洗澡水也很暖和，床鋪又大又軟乎。晚飯我們想吃燒烤，酒店很貼心地把我們送到了燒烤店，吃完了又送我們回來！

Very aged and not well maintained, cleanliness can be improved greatly. At one glance, may not be obvious, but when using the facilities, can see scraps and hair on the floor not cleaned well, staircase leading up also rusty and puddle up when raining. Location is rather inaccessible, the complex is like a maze filled with many different accommodation providers. Need to ask them for the small vehicle to move around places, check in at level 1 and need to ride the small vehicle to level 5 for our stay. Capsule is also very cramped, barely had enough space to open up our 2 large luggages. Soundproofing not the best, there were some festival/stage performance going on nearby and we can hear the noise from our room. Breakfast served was bad, out of our 16 nights stay in Yunnan and moving from hotel to hotel, this is the worse breakfast served, ingredients dont feel fresh, coffee was very diluted. Will not recommend unless youre just there for the photos. Wont be returning.

The hotel was located in the Santorini area of Dali, overlooking the lake. The hotel was clean and spacious and furnished with modern electrical devices. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was welcome drink, fruits and a departure gift (tea) in a nice packaging.
