Extremely good location, situated right outside is walking street with shops and night markets! The place is tastefully done up and cleanliness is immpeccable 🙌🏻 most staff were super friendly and helpful (except for a taller specsy guy who seem impatient when i asked questions on renting a scooter) A overall great place to stay and highly recommended to stat !

Amazing hotel, very nice staff, beautiful rooms and perfect location. Highly recommend. We don’t speak Chinese and they made great effort to help us with everything. The location is perfect, right on the street and still quiet and pleasant.

Strategically located on a busy street, yet just a step away you enter a completely different, quiet zone. The hotel is beautifully designed and feels so cozy. We had pre-booked a car from 大理 to 丽江, but the driver never showed up. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to book another car, only to have the driver demand more than double the price listed on the platform. Just when we felt helpless, a super kind staff 小妹 from the hotel came to our rescue. She took turns driving each of us on her motorbike, with our big luggage on the passenger seat, to help us get to a bus terminal to look for tickets. First attempt was failed, tickets are sold out. She patiently helped us find a solution, and thanks to her we managed to buy tickets and continue our trip. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to her and to the hotel. Highly recommended — not just for the beautiful space, but for the people who make you feel cared for.

Exceptional location, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service! The location of this resort is prime—it is hard to believe that such a peaceful and beautiful oasis is just 200 meters away from the East Gate of Dali Ancient Town. There are plenty of food options nearby, especially around the gate area. We experienced a minor room booking mix-up upon arrival. We originally booked the SUJING room, but the hotel assigned us to the YINJI room (B102), which was larger and even more beautiful. They kindly offered us to stay in B102 for both nights, but we still wanted to try our original room on the 2nd floor as well. That said, the YINJI room (B102) was absolutely fantastic—extremely quiet, comfortable, and highly recommended! Breakfast was rich in carbs, served in traditional Yunnan style. The young staff members were wonderfully attentive and helpful, using translation apps very effectively to communicate with us. Overall, a fantastic stay that I would happily recommend!

A Wonderful Stay Made Special by the People We are a group of six travelers from Thailand and booked three rooms for two nights at Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel Dali. Our stay was truly memorable, and we were very impressed with the hotel. The location is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and have a genuine sense of luxury. However, what impressed us the most was the people. From check-in to breakfast service, the staff were attentive, friendly, and communicated with us very clearly. They took great care of us throughout our stay. Most importantly, they went out of their way to help arrange transportation for our group to Dali Railway Station, which made our departure so much easier. We have also included photos of the two staff members who assisted us throughout our stay. We would especially like the hotel management to recognize them. They are kind-hearted, genuinely caring, and wonderful representatives of the hotel. People like them are truly an asset to the business. Thank you for creating not only a beautiful hotel, but also such warm and thoughtful hospitality. Yuntang Hotel is a special, tucked-away little oasis in the heart of Dali Ancient City! I was very impressed by the cleanliness and design of the room — it's very calming with a lot of wood elements and seemingly Japanese-inspired design. The breakfast was on the simple side for Chinese hotel breakfasts (not as many choices), but I thought it was delicious and nutritious. The staff were quietly friendly and helpful. I would definitely come stay here again.
