The hotel is quite standard. The floor plan of the hotel is triangular. The layout of the room at the head is not very regular compared to other rooms. The mattress is relatively hard and I like it very much, but those who like to sleep on soft beds should be cautious. You can't take takeout upstairs. I didn't see any robots. The original reason why I booked Kaiyuan Mercure Hotel on Ctrip was that the hotel was near Dalian Railway Station, close to the downtown bus station and subway station, and convenient for travel. This Hotel is very nice and located in the Center, close to the Railway station and many POI. The staff is friendly and tries to support the guests. The English language skills could be improved. Unfortunately the Hotel and the rooms definitely need an extensive renovation. In our room several electric plug-sockets had been damaged, which is a severe danger. Also the control-units for the AC showed marks of overheating and damages. The interior of the rooms and bathroom showed marks of abrasion and cheap repairs. With this actions this Hotel could be one of the best in Dalian.

Return to this hotel and the counter had kindly managed to collect all the deliverables order via online to this correct address. Counter lady was helpful to account for and clear up the space while unpacking the packages. Also managed to have the TV turned on and able to view the weather forecast via china unicom

I came out to study and wanted a quieter room. The special offer was gone, so the front desk upgraded the giant screen projection for free. The stay experience was great.
