This area is full of local life, with breakfast shops (Dai Baozi), noodle shops, fruit stores, Dalian home-style restaurants (6886), salmon shops (Aushen), chill bars, KTVs, BBQ joints, and convenience stores. About 1 km away, there's a morning market (underneath some residential buildings), which I just happened to pass by – it's worth a stroll! The 201 tram at Minzhu Square is definitely worth a ride! It's only a 3-minute walk from a single intersection. In the evenings, there are many street vendors downstairs; it's lively but not noisy. The hotel offers parking, and lobby check-in is very convenient and visible, with a well-planned layout. The most important thing! The room is excellent! The lighting is very harmonious; turning on the lights won't hurt your eyes. The bedside lamps are replaced with vertical embedded light strips, which are really great and perfect as a nightlight. The bathroom has no excessive decorations; it's clean, tidy, and completely odor-free! Absolutely no smell at all! The projector is very clear, perfectly framed, and offers a great viewing experience. I was just too tired during the day to watch for long, I was so sleepy! 😆 The room also has excellent soundproofing, so even light sleepers can consider it. I'm an average sleeper, and it was very quiet during my stay. Downstairs, there's a laundry room and a gym. For families traveling, baby strollers are available for rent, which is really great! For me, who decided to extend my trip by a couple of days and didn't bring extra clothes, being able to do my laundry every night was a lifesaver. It's a washer-dryer combo, and it's free! On the morning of the third day, staff even had a robot deliver something to my room; the service is truly excellent! Ike & Home Hotel is worth it! Dalian is worth it!
