Not very good

On a terrible side of town. I was not told I’d be charged an additional $50 deposit by ******* but I was still charged it. It was charged $168.45 for a $88 hotel stay in the ghetto

The lobby is clean and breakfast is mediocre and basic. I was on floor 3, there was a flicking light, what appeared to be Clorox stains on the carpet in the hall, and the hall floor had trash. My room door was hard to push open from the outside and slammed really hard, but wouldn’t close without pushing it from the inside. I don’t think the heat was working. The hotel is around the corner from a convenience store and there was a lot of trash at the parking lot entrance. The hotel is on the same lot as another hotel and motel 6 (which had a lot of people doing some things…if you catch my drift). The hotel does have security, so that’s a plus. It was loud when I was there from 1/17-1/20 from the slamming doors, people running and/or jumping, and kids. Just be safe when you go. It is convenient to the expressway.

Difficult to get in and out. Walking to nearby businesses very difficult given how back parking lot is closed off to neighboring street requiring walking long route through very sketchy neighborhood where we saw significant evidence of substance abuse and soliciting *********** at night. One way road on main entrance made it difficult to navigate to/from by car. Had difficulty getting out of parking lot and had to wait for 5 minutes at one point due to arborist company (that I was told had leased the parking lot for 6 months) heavy equipment blocking all routes of egress. Room service didn't make up beds one day without any notice although clearly replaced towels. Staff overall were otherwise friendly and helpful. Climate control in our room wasn't working well. Ideal temperature in the room read on the thermostat as 12 degrees, which is obviously wrong. At night often the room's temperature would rise until it got way too hot, then the A/C would kick on until the room became way too cold, repeating most of the night. Bathtub didn't drain properly without completely removing the drain plug, showing the icky underside of it and the drain itself. The tub's textured surface had worn down and was so slippery as to feel unsafe without putting a wet towel in the tub to stand on. Bed comfort was average. Breakfast was a little below average but acceptable. Saw at the desk that they offer a 5% discount to anyone who posts a 5 star Google review. Knocking for this tactic as they are essentially bribing people to submit biased or dishonest reviews.

This place was very clean, the staff is very friendly. I've stayed twice at this place and its very comfortable.

There was not enough outside area when it is raining.

Smelled amazing. Everything looked new and clean.
