Canopy by Hilton Dallas - Uptown

This place was amazing and the front desk staff was unbelievable. The rooms were spacious and updated.

We stayed for a single night to attend a party at the Rustic, which is a quick walk away. We booked a balcony room (semi-private, barriers separate each balcony but can be looked over easily). Pros: -Called and got early check in -Valet man was fabulous - engaging and friendly -Front desk - polite and also friendly -Room - clean and welcoming, balcony spacious Cons: -No table on balcony (other balconies had them) so we called and were told, "if there isn't one there then you just don't have one". Not a huge deal but we were going to eat pizza and wanted a table -Fancy water jug in lobby was empty and remained empty for hours on both days (not that I had to have cucumber water but it shows lack of attention to detail. -Went to get coffee at 10 am, big carafe was empty, went to little food place, waited, was told that it was after 10 so breakfast was over (it was 10:02 am), several angry guests were grumbling about it as well JUST TO BE CLEAR - I would absolutely stay there again, but if you want to play with the big boys and be a fancy hotel then make sure those details are being handled. Provide coffee for guests or at least apologize and either make more coffee or tell me where I can go get some, don't just say, "oops it's after 10 am so oh well, sucks for you"

Nice place but the people are surly, inattentive and seem poorly trained. I have stayed several times and the same woman works breakfast. I literally have to go get her to get help, coffee, the check, etc. But she did wake up the guy that serves the buffet for me when he didn't see me because he was on his phone. My breakfast charge got screwed up, as well. I wish I had said something before because this really needs to be addressed.

Customer service from front desk manager, who made executive “random” decision about changing our room type from a king to a queen without seeking our permission. Explained rationale for our strong preference for a king room to facilitate in room exercise, but literally no options were offered. We realize this is not a critical room distinction, but the manner of engagement was not gracious or accommodating. I felt as though I was interacting with a robotic nonresponsive staff member. I didn’t feel welcomed or appreciated. It was a disappointing initial experience with this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in a while . Great property and location

Very comfortable accommodations and a relaxing environment. I enjoyed my stay.
