AC Hotel Dallas Downtown

Front desk was rude in the morning when I asked about breakfast, which when I checked in on the day before no one mentioned it would be non existent. I was offered complimentary coffee. Major fail and with all the options around I will not be back.

Great vibes and nice valet service and the pool was best indoor pool I’ve seen in Dallas area

We asked for a room for three adults, offered a rm with 2 Q size beds: more like full. Too small. The coffee machine in the room serves coffee for 2 and no breakfast included.

This hotel was one of the preferred hotels for NCA Cheer Nationals. First issue is the room. There is a tiny closet for clothes. That's it. No dressers. Room supposedly could accommodate 3 people. We stayed for 4 days and had our clothing piled up all over the room since there were no drawers. Next issue the elevators. They are "modern " type" where you have to choose the floor before you get on and it tells you what car. Problem was sometimes when you try and select floor it says please try again later. I called front desk and was told "it's because they are busy". I was on floor 9 and walked down because elevators were showing up empty but they weren't going to the floor you needed and you can't pick a floor once inside! The next issue was the person cleaning the room put 1 bath towel. There were 3 of us. We went down to get towels and they were out of them! Asked for one extra pillow. They had no more. The area rug in the room was filthy. I would rather no rug since the floor is wood. The sleeper sofa killed my daughters back so she squeezed in our bed. This hotel should have been more prepared for this weekend. They knew they were sold out. I would not stay here again due to the problems we encountered.

I recently traveled to Dallas for a work retreat. The hotel is immaculate. smells fresh, has a very modern aesthetic. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We had breakfast and dinner at the bar. Food was decent for hotel food but there are several restaurants near by and you can uber eats. The AC hotel is conveniently connected to the residence inn and the hampton inn. Both very clean properties with incredibly helpful staff. I worked with Joyce Oliver in sales to secure a meeting space at the Hampton Inn. We were able to remain indoors to access both properties. There is also a starbucks in the building on the 1st floor on the Hampton Inn side. Our rooms were super clean and spacious. For ladies, I do recommend bringing a travel light for make up application. I think this is true for most hotels. I highly recommend the property. It seems to popular for business travel.

Loved the room. Nice and modern yet comfy too. My shower set up was broken but worked and it did not hinder my stay. BUT, the fragrance in the lobby is really overpowering. Additionally, the restaurant had been closed over Thanksgiving so they were limited on what they could serve and burgers were pretty much it. The burger was terrible, they gave only a few chips and yet it was all they could offer. I threw it away and said nothing more. There was no fixing that.

Stayed at the hotel for 7 nights as was in town for the JFK 60th Anniversary and a couple of other events. It’s in a REALLY good location and easy walkable to most places. Dealey Plaza was a casual 10 min walk. There are a few bars and restaurants about too plus x3 seven eleven stores in easy walking distance. The hotel itself was very nice in terms of appearance and decor. The room I had was lovely and tastefully decorated and looked high end. The beds were extremely comfy and the shower fab. The smart tv also let you connect to YouTube which was a bonus. The one thing that sadly stood out for me was the pretty not interested aspect of the staff. It’s not to say they were rude; but generally things just felt a bit self service. I think Thanksgiving meant many people were away, but the hotel generally felt a bit soulless.. it didn’t bother me too much as I was out a lot; but walking in and out no one really says anything to you. Location of reception doesn’t help with that as you don’t walk past this area to go to the room. The room was really lovely but had zero information anywhere about the hotel, swimming pool times, room service, restaurant opening and menus? I wasn’t given anything at reception and sadly it prompted me to eat out (which was probably cheaper). Overall thought on balance I had a really good stay and would stay again despite the feedback. It just doesn’t have a staff wow factor despite the lovely interior. The surrounding area I avoided after dark.
