Hyatt House Dallas Uptown

The place was nice, room clean, bed was very comfortable and most importantly.... the air worked perfectly!!!

Hyatt House Uptown exceeded my expectations. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, nice bar/lounge. The extended stay suite was just perfect. Didn't really take advantage of anything but the coffee maker, but would on another trip. The perfect place to stay if attending an event at the AAC.

As many other shared, this hotel needs upgrades, maintenance, and cleaning. the garage gate was inoperable to get into the parking lot. The staff was rude.

My husband and I were in Dallas for vacation, and decided to stay here for convenience, price and location-we chose well, as this hotel is a gem! For four days we needed room to spread out, so we booked the studio Double Suite- 2 Double beds, sectional with kitchenette. It was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable and everything that we needed to use worked fine. We were on the 4th floor facing the street but it wasn’t noisy. They have an onsite self-parking garage, which was also a factor for us staying. The rate was a deal @ $30 a night compared to other hotels in the area, and without the hassle that valet can be at times. Each garage level corresponds to a hotel floor, so once parked you can head straight to your room. We ate the complimentary breakfast 2 of our 4 days there and it was pretty good-waffles, eggs, potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, bacon one morning and ham the other. As for the service, the staff here is AWESOME! From the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, everyone was so nice and greeted us with a smile. Shoutout to Ms. Tammy with the vibrant braids-she was so warm, welcoming and helpful! The young man working the bar on Tuesday night was friendly and helpful with our questions about the food options-I didn’t get his name but the hockey game was on if that helps identify him (night of 10/28/25). Keep up the great work Hyatt House Uptown, we plan to stay there again when we come back to Dallas.

We recently were so fortunate to be assisted by Mariyah at Hyatt House in Dallas (Uptown). Her customer service skills are absolutely fabulous and our whole experience was incredibly elevated due to her. Thank you Mariyah, you truly set the standard.

A great location for Dallas at a great price - good value for money. Hotel appears to have had soft refresh - bed very comfortable. Big rooms with kitchenette as well. Free breakfast a bonus. Felt safe walking around from this location - much better than downtown I believe.
