Located at the heart of old Damascus city, I can smell the history of Damascus staying this hotel. Walk around and see the old twon is very relaxation and enjoyable. Breakfast is wonderful with a lot of local foods.

the hotel is impressive, immense and well cared for. However, the war leaves indelible marks, and it could not be otherwise. The maintenance of the rooms suffers from the lack of visitors, the bathrooms of the rooms show gaps due to the lack of attendance. The breakfast needs improvement, the choice is poor. The dining room staff, on the other hand, was good. A little slow the staff at the front office. Overall a respectable hotel, considering the difficult, very difficult social situation of the country.
