I had a wonderful three-night stay at Jetwing Lake as a foreign tourist. I was a little nervous as to what to expect traveling to Sri Lanka as part of the tourist bio-bubble, given the current COVID- related restrictions. However, my concerns quickly dissipated, and I was so happy with my choice to stay at Jetwing Lake. This was the perfect base from which to explore the sites of the Cultural Triangle. The hotel itself is quite beautiful and well maintained. My Super Deluxe room was very spacious, had a beautiful bathroom (and lovely soaking tub), and a lovely patio/deck overlooking the pool and lake. The room was equipped with all the modern comforts. The food at the hotel was delicious and varied. The Sri Lanka fare did not disappoint, including the chicken curry and potato and leek burger. The cheesecake was also a delightful surprise. What set this hotel apart was the service, though. Everyone went out of their way to see to my every need, from learning my dining preferences to greeting me by name. The hotel staff even organized an afternoon cricket session, just for me. It was an incredible experience. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend to anyone interested in staying (whether locals or foreign tourists alike). Such a great experience!

This was the second time I visited Heritance Kandalama and it was better than the last stay especially I would like to mention the Guest Relations Executive Miss. Yoshina for taking care of our family and fulfilling all our needs with all the needed information with her efficient style and making the stay comfortable also big shoutout to the chefs food was beyond amazing and the restaurant staff was very active as well and also the suite was amazing with all the amenities that should be there in a room overall a 10/10 experience and a must visit place in Sri Lanka ♥️

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There was a nice backyard as well. The hotel was beautiful, with a really good view to the Lion Rock. The swimming pool was cool. The food was tasty and with a great variaty (with western and local options). There was live music every night. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

This hotel is close to the main attraction - Sigiriya rocks and next to the road, which is very convenient. But at the same time in a quiet place with a view of the mountains. The lobby and restaurant are very stylishly decorated. Upon check-in, we were treated to a refreshing papaya juice and cool hand towels, which came in handy after a long drive. Check-in was very fast and comfortable. The territory of the hotel is very green and well-groomed. There is a large pool with different depths and even an outdoor jacuzzi )) During our stay, the water in the pool was very warm and it was nice to swim. There are sun loungers and beach towels. It is very fortunate that you can choose a place to relax in the shade of trees or in the sun to sunbathe. All Nivadoo rooms are located in detached cottages. Thus, the guests do not interfere with each other at all. We had a triple room, very cozy and stylishly decorated. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator with mini-bar, TV, kettle and dishes to make tea or coffee, bottled water. Cleaning service and change of towels are offered daily. Very pleased with the availability of hot water in shower. The room was very clean and pleasant to be in. There is also a terrace with a table and chairs where you can relax during the day. Food is a different story. You can choose accommodation with breakfast or half board. Breakfasts and dinners are amazingly delicious. For breakfast they serve scrambled eggs, bacon or sausages, toast, butter, jam, fresh fruit, pancake, but the baked pineapple with chocolate topping was especially impressive, it was divine)) For dinner there is a choice of several dishes. We tried shrimp and fish in sweet sauce and grilled chicken, all very tasty. For dinner, soup-puree and a dessert of your choice are also served. We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come again.

Garden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. Our first hotel on our 7-tegigen rundreise was the Oak Ray Elephant Lake Resort. It is currently a Safe and Secure Level 1 hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, a PCR test was performed. The test is neither bad nor painful. All is well organized. Until the result of the test, we had to stay in our room. You were allowed to sit on the terrace/balcony. From here you could watch papayas, colored birds and strip corners. The food has been brought by the room service. After 24 hours you usually get the test result. After that you can move freely in the hotel and use the pool. We spent 3 nights here. The employees are very nice and very happy about tourists. Due to the corona pandemic, there is currently no buffet offered in the restaurant. There is food all a carte. There is enough choice, it's very delicious and actually always too much. Due to the corona pandemic, the hotel is currently scarcely established. We have been screening from here to the Sigriya Rock and Polonnaruwa and made a safari in the Minneriya National Park. When we visited the Sigriya Rock and Polonnaruwa, we were the only visitors. These attractions are considered as Apprised Toursim Sites and Attractions, which you can visit within the first 14 days of stay in Sri Lanka (Quarantine period) as part of a bio bubble. Bio-Bubble means that you must not have contact with locals. It was a great time despite the pandemic. We felt very safe all the time.

MAGICAL!! it's a pity that we had just 1 night to spend in this resort.... it's a place to detox, disconnect, seek within and go on a soul searching journey to connect within yourself! The entire energy of this place is pure! From the way we were greeted with the temple flowers as we were walked down to our little cottage to the natural fragrance in the room with the fresh flowers decorated in all corners of the room, the bed and the washroom.... everything was charming. Wifi was only in the lounge area/common...so you could not stay cooped up in your place all day...n if you happen to go in Jan/Feb, that's just great coz it will get a little pleasantly chilly at late evenings ...n just breathing in that fresh clean air was amazing! The buffet spread includes live cooking counter and is quite varied...not exceptionally varied for vegetarians but overall a good spread. I would love to go back n just be there a few days n slack in the beauty in that still and clear clean quiet. There is also an ayurvedic centre within the premises for those interested.... I would suggest, it's worth a try and the prices are pretty good too.
