Très bel établissement, chambres spacieuses et confortables, très belle piscine bien entretenue, personnel attentif et sympathique. Excellent restaurant, possibilité de dîner aux chandelles dans le jardin. Très bons petits-déjeuners, calme absolu. Revers de la médaille, très loin de tout et difficile à trouver. Si l'on est pas véhiculé, une fois dans l'hotel... on y reste !

Hôtel en pleine nature et très agréable ( pas un bruit) Nous y sommes resté 2 nuit. Nous avions notre chambre séparée du bâtiment principal sur le côté de la piscine. Chambre très spacieuse, propre et climatisée. Nous avons dîner et petit déjeuner 2 fois et s’était vraiment excellent et fin, leur chef est très bon. Possibilité de dîner à l’extérieur avec bougies pour une soirée romantique. Une équipe a l’écoute et très agréable. Nous vous recommande vivement cet hôtel

Très bel hôtel. Chambres spacieuses, beau jardin et agréable piscine. M Les repas y sont excellents. Le personnel est agréable, serviable et souriant. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter le triangle culturel. Nous y avons séjourné 3 jours et nous sommes enchantés.

Pernottato tre notti ai primi di Febbraio 2024’ durante viaggio in Sri Lanka. Eravamo in 3, ci hanno assegnato una camera comoda (la prima al piano superiore, credo la numero 1), in realtà si trattava di due camere, una nella mansarda, aria condizionata separata. Buona sistemazione, consigliabile se si e’ in famiglia. Struttura carina, bel giardino, bella piscina, abbiamo pernottato tre notti e cenato una sera. Buona la colazione, buona la cena, anche se, a mio giudizio, è meglio cenare nei vari ristoranti in giro. se pernottate più di una notte, meglio uscire a cena. Quanto ai dintorni, puo’ essere ottima base per tour a sigiriya, polonnaruwa, ovviamente dambulla .consigliabile.

Athena Lake was the perfect stay during our time visiting the Sigiriya area. The staff was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner are in a beautiful setting, we felt very relaxed and absolutely loved the food! We actually think their Sri Lankan curry was the best we had! A lot of their produce is also grown in their own garden. Definitely a place to remember, thank you Athena Lake!

We stayed 2 nights @ Athena Lake Boutique Hotel while visiting Sigiriya & Dambula. The resort is very peaceful & the staff very attentive. It has a nice swimming pool & a lot of area around to walk. It has a lake on the property but was not accessible because it rained. The rooms are very spacious & a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was nice with a mix of Continental & Sri Lankan fare. All in all a very nice hotel.

Отель находится в сердце джунглей. По утрам звуки как в зоопарке. Очень колоритно. Сервис хороший. Ужин по меню, на выбор по два блюда из основного и закусок. Напитки за деньги и не малые. Бокал красного обычного вина 9 евро. Для Шри-Ланки это космос. В других отелях около 3 евро стоит. Номера уже устарели. Воняет канализацией. Бассейн чистый, есть душ.

A truly amazing three nights stay at Athena Lake Boutique. Lovely surroundings and even more lovely staff at the hotel. You will experience Sri Lanka in the best way and being served delicious meals all through your stay. The personal will go that extra mile to make your stay as joyful as possible. We stayed here for during three nights and also celebrated New Year and can only give our best recommendations. On New Year's day, they showed us their tradition to do milkrice, which means that they boil rice and coconotmilk in a pot over open fire until it boild over. The second day, we went to Sigriya to climb and see the Lion Rock. Many thanks to all the wonderful people at Athena Lake for making our stay so remarkable. I hope to see you all again.
