I had a wonderful three-night stay at Jetwing Lake as a foreign tourist. I was a little nervous as to what to expect traveling to Sri Lanka as part of the tourist bio-bubble, given the current COVID- related restrictions. However, my concerns quickly dissipated, and I was so happy with my choice to stay at Jetwing Lake. This was the perfect base from which to explore the sites of the Cultural Triangle. The hotel itself is quite beautiful and well maintained. My Super Deluxe room was very spacious, had a beautiful bathroom (and lovely soaking tub), and a lovely patio/deck overlooking the pool and lake. The room was equipped with all the modern comforts. The food at the hotel was delicious and varied. The Sri Lanka fare did not disappoint, including the chicken curry and potato and leek burger. The cheesecake was also a delightful surprise. What set this hotel apart was the service, though. Everyone went out of their way to see to my every need, from learning my dining preferences to greeting me by name. The hotel staff even organized an afternoon cricket session, just for me. It was an incredible experience. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend to anyone interested in staying (whether locals or foreign tourists alike). Such a great experience!

This was the second time I visited Heritance Kandalama and it was better than the last stay especially I would like to mention the Guest Relations Executive Miss. Yoshina for taking care of our family and fulfilling all our needs with all the needed information with her efficient style and making the stay comfortable also big shoutout to the chefs food was beyond amazing and the restaurant staff was very active as well and also the suite was amazing with all the amenities that should be there in a room overall a 10/10 experience and a must visit place in Sri Lanka ♥️

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There was a nice backyard as well. The hotel was beautiful, with a really good view to the Lion Rock. The swimming pool was cool. The food was tasty and with a great variaty (with western and local options). There was live music every night. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

There are many types of breakfast, and the taste is quite satisfactory. It is not particularly prominent. Extra bed, INR 1300, plus a set of toiletries for the extra bed. The environment is particularly good, located on the edge of the lake, the scenery is very beautiful, especially when you enter the hotel door, it is the best resort hotel. The room is a separate cabin, the bathroom is very large, it feels very good, it can be said that it is the best hotel for family and children. The staff is very friendly and there is no discrimination against the Chinese. The hotel is dominated by Western tourists and there are relatively few Chinese tourists. The only regret is that the buffet at the dinner did not provide drinks, and even the mineral water had to be bought separately. It was not kind.

The rooms are really big, nicely decorated and well maintained. The complex of the hotel is also really nice. There is a pool, a volleyball field and a little playground. Unfortunately, they didn’t have enough loungers at the pool. The hotel is located in the middle of the jungle which is why there are many animals like monkeys and peacocks running around the area. The food and the service was also great. They also offer massages.

MAGICAL!! it's a pity that we had just 1 night to spend in this resort.... it's a place to detox, disconnect, seek within and go on a soul searching journey to connect within yourself! The entire energy of this place is pure! From the way we were greeted with the temple flowers as we were walked down to our little cottage to the natural fragrance in the room with the fresh flowers decorated in all corners of the room, the bed and the washroom.... everything was charming. Wifi was only in the lounge area/common...so you could not stay cooped up in your place all day...n if you happen to go in Jan/Feb, that's just great coz it will get a little pleasantly chilly at late evenings ...n just breathing in that fresh clean air was amazing! The buffet spread includes live cooking counter and is quite varied...not exceptionally varied for vegetarians but overall a good spread. I would love to go back n just be there a few days n slack in the beauty in that still and clear clean quiet. There is also an ayurvedic centre within the premises for those interested.... I would suggest, it's worth a try and the prices are pretty good too.

Our first hotel on our 7-tegigen rundreise was the Oak Ray Elephant Lake Resort. It is currently a Safe and Secure Level 1 hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, a PCR test was performed. The test is neither bad nor painful. All is well organized. Until the result of the test, we had to stay in our room. You were allowed to sit on the terrace/balcony. From here you could watch papayas, colored birds and strip corners. The food has been brought by the room service. After 24 hours you usually get the test result. After that you can move freely in the hotel and use the pool. We spent 3 nights here. The employees are very nice and very happy about tourists. Due to the corona pandemic, there is currently no buffet offered in the restaurant. There is food all a carte. There is enough choice, it's very delicious and actually always too much. Due to the corona pandemic, the hotel is currently scarcely established. We have been screening from here to the Sigriya Rock and Polonnaruwa and made a safari in the Minneriya National Park. When we visited the Sigriya Rock and Polonnaruwa, we were the only visitors. These attractions are considered as Apprised Toursim Sites and Attractions, which you can visit within the first 14 days of stay in Sri Lanka (Quarantine period) as part of a bio bubble. Bio-Bubble means that you must not have contact with locals. It was a great time despite the pandemic. We felt very safe all the time.

not bad,actually I recommend the normal room instead of the wood room, because in the night the wood room have some animal sound and some strange smell
