We are having major electric shortage causing me and other guest not having access to electricity, air-conditioning and water for the last 5 hours... I definitely would demand a refund for all this inconvenience... We can't even use restroom for #1!!!!! That's absolutely unprofessional.

Nice location for beach and going around Safe place very noisy place specially “on weekend “ It is very Near discotheque « Element » Staffs for breakfast and room are very nice The Q bar down was still under big renovation It is not a modern place Wifi is slow nearly all the time , only place to have wifi is near the breakfast area

I spent a few night here while passing through Dar Es Salaam. The rooms were good and the location in Oyster Bay good, set away from the main road enough to escape the noise. The infamous Q Bar was closed for renovation, so I can't comment on a normal evening in the hotel. The only problem I had was finding a staff member (who was painting the outer wall) closing my 3rd floor room window from the outside when I walked in the room. Then 10 minutes later when I was in the room, he tried opening it again. Suspicious, so I would advise caution of your possessions if you decide to stop here. I asked a member of staff about it & he decided he could not speak English. Other than that, the other staff were very friendly & helpful, and I won't let one small problem let me think I did not enjoy my stay.

I wasn't given the room I booked. The pictures on this app don't represent what they offer. Wi-Fi didn't work. The bar plays loud music at night. I was accused of having extra people in my room when I didn't. It seems that the bar is where men are trying to hook up with women for hire.

I just stayed at Q Bar & Guesthouse and been amazed by the loveliness of the staff. The guesthouse is comfortable, AC, spacious and lit rooms, safe, little desk area, sofa, TV. I very much appreciated the whole stay. From start they were super responsive on the booking engine. At check in Ibra showed me few rooms before choosing what i wanted, made sure i was comfy, cooked breakfast by Grace was perfect, she's lovely and so is whole staff, and Joel the manager is very nice and welcoming. The Bar is popular in the area and the location is perfect! No noise, the rooms are quiet. Definitely recommend.

Super relaxed atmosphere in and around the Q-Bar. In the evening there is live music on some evenings. I felt completely comfortable and safe. For people who want 3,4,5 star hotel character, book somewhere else. Price-performance is top. There was no extra charge for early check-in and late check-out.
