We were only passing through on our way to somewhere else but The BlackGold was really clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The Crib, the on-site restaurant,had really nice food and was very well priced.

Food is terrific. Monday night in the restaurant wasn't too busy, but suggest you book any other night (!) Great gluten free choices, and felt safe as a celiac as staff were aware and food comes out flagged. Also gluten free cribs available to take to work. We had some heavy frosts during the stay but the bedrooms stayed warm. Plenty of hot water.

The service and staff are second to none, the rooms are beautifully constructed and maintained, all staff make you feel like royalty, the whole layout of the motel is superb with the gardens and lawns kept in pristine condition even in winter everything is beautifully green.

Immaculately clean and bed is comfy! Definitely a great value for its price. Location is accessible to the Japanese Bath House. Staff are outstanding! Easy to use wifi, able to cast movie on the tv monitor, and had our coffee delivered first thing in the morning. Thank you!

A very relaxed stay in always well-presented accommodation. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. A home away from home when travelling. The dining experience (either breakfast or dinner) is equally a high level of quality and service. very warm and relaxed surroundings

I loved the black gold motel. It had such a nice feeling to it. The rooms were very nice, and the hot warm shower was just what I needed every night. The staff were amazing and the food was even better. Please come and stay. Many different rooms to choose from. You won’t regret it

Attended recently for a conference. The accommodation is beautiful, and the conference room facilities are stunning. Very high quality, with all modern equipment and technology. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Would thoroughly recommend.
