Not clean, cow dung odour all the time, gross misrepresentation of rooms, facilities and amenities on the booking sites. mattresses, cutlery, furniture etc were as old and unkempt as the house, no amenities in bathroom, shower , flush not working properly. breakfast was just bread and coffee. The owner should know that there is more to running a bnb than just dumping your discarded stuff in shoddy rooms. The guests coming over are obviously used to of better facilities. One can always get a better accommodation in the same price in the same area.

We stayed at Hilltop Lodge for ten days (Dec 2021). We travelled as a family of four. Our memorable stay starting from the rooms , staffs and the owner were absolutely perfect. The food which was whole heartedly prepared by Ramesh ji was superb. Rohit and his family were the perfect host for us. The serenity and the ambience of the place is hard to resist. I would suggest anyone coming to Guwahati especially from Bangladesh should stay at this place without any second thought. Hilltop Lodge is very budget and family friendly.

Excellent place to stay , makes you comfortable with the home food is remarkable and ambience is awesome. There is place for relaxation which gives more touch of trees around. Peacefully area and near to the Kamakhya Temple , it takes 20 to 25 min to reach temple
