Waterfront House

The perfect place for your stay, ideally located, just like the name on the waterfront, conveniently located for shops and transport links, modern clean and professional. The Food is great and generous, warm and well run, so I can highly recommend this place.

Lovely B&B: clean, well decorated rooms with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was lovely also. Parking is a bit of a pain but not too bad during the off-season: a 5-minute walk away for free if you can find a space (as of 10 Feb 2024, on street parking on the North Embankment is free from the 1st October to 30th April).

When we arrived, it became apparent that there was something wrong. I had booked for 2025 instead of 2024. Julie went above and beyond to find us somewhere else to stay in Dartmouth, with a room available at the guest house for our second night. Even though it was my fault, we were offered complimentary breakfast on the first morning. The Harbour room that we stayed in for the second nkght was immaculate and very clean. It had a view of the River Dart which was nice. Everything in the room appeared to be catered for, even down to low level lighting when walking in the bathroom. Overall, both Julie and Jon went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. As long as I book the correct year!!

Perfect in every way. Stayed in the loft room, very spacious, warm, clean with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The views over the dart were amazing. Not ideal for physically challenged people if stairs are a challenge, just two flights so no problem for most people. Super quiet and the perfect location. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful every step of the way. Looking forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.

Stayed here for two nights on a solo trip ion my motorbike. I wanted somewhere nice to stay but the Waterfront Hotel exceeded my expectation on every level. The hosts’ the room, the breakfast were all 5 star standard. If you can book a room as you will not be disappointed. Oh and the cookies!

This is the very best b&b we have stayed in. This is now our 4th/5th visit. The location is amazing with wonderful river views. Exceptionally comfortable beds with classy bed linen and towels. The breakfast menu is fulsome and the quality 5star. Julie and John are the bests of hosts and every little thing has been thought of. It is a stylish up market establishment, spotlessly clean and smart. Of course, we will be back !

Been regular visitors to Dar**outh for 15 yrs and this is the best place we’ve stayed. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a front room which gives a great view of the harbour. Room was spotless and warm. Comfy bed, fresh milk for tea and one of those little coffee machines. There are many breakfast options (we had two nights, so choosing differently we can vouch for 4 options) all presented well using local produce. We will be back!

Lovely weekend away at Waterfront house. Bedroom was lovely and clean, with coffee, tea and freshly baked cookies! Breakfast was fabulous - crossaints, fresh fruit, plenty of drink choice and a hot food menu. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it, thank you so much!

Beautiful setting on the river. Julie and Jon have truly thought of everything to make guests feel pampered. Decor is modern and light and the breakfast simply delicious. Just a great place to stay.
