Shortly after booking the hotel, I was added to a concierge service group, and they contacted us in advance. The hotel is located within the ancient city, just a 2-minute walk from the Dongnanyi business district. Huayan Temple and Daiwang Mansion are also nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around! The hotel's style is perfect for photos, and the bedding is clean and high-quality, which is great for someone as particular as me. The hotel has its own Yungang Art Museum for guests to visit, and every staff member, from the front desk to the back office, was polite and courteous. In the afternoon, they provided tea, snacks, and dried fruits, and for late-night returns, there was a sweet pear soup – every detail was meticulously thought out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including salmon, steak, and sliced noodles. During the May Day holiday, there were Guzheng performances and fire pot shows in the evening. It was a very pleasant stay!

I came to this hotel after hearing great things about it, and it definitely lives up to the hype. It's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area, beautifully designed, and perfect for photos. The facilities are top-notch, with a sophisticated wabi-sabi aesthetic. The rooms are spacious with a well-thought-out layout. The only thing that needs improvement is the service consistency. On the day we arrived, we were quite disappointed with both the lobby and restaurant staff. The waiter at dinner couldn't recommend local dishes and we had to call them over for water refills. Also, during the evening guzheng performance in the lobby, guests weren't offered any tea – it felt quite unprofessional. However, after providing feedback to the hotel the next day, we saw a significant improvement, as if a completely different management team had taken over. A special thank you to Manager Lin and Wang Juli from the restaurant. Manager Lin was attentive to customer suggestions and promptly adjusted the management, adding a human touch to the excellent hardware. Wang Juli from the restaurant was warm, enthusiastic, and highly efficient, which elevated our experience considerably! I hope the hotel continues to strengthen its service management with such 'warmth' to truly justify its pricing.

Didn't take many photos of the room, but everything from the facilities to the location was excellent. I especially want to praise their service. Every staff member had a wonderful attitude. They greeted us with genuine smiles, not fake ones, and always said hello when we saw them. Even my friend, who was traveling with me, said it was the best service she'd experienced on all our trips together over the years. We've already made plans to come back once their second phase opens.

Came to Datong just to stay at Jixia Shan and it was truly beautiful! The trees had all blossomed with leaves 🍃, making it incredibly photogenic. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff – they were so enthusiastic! They helped us with our luggage before check-in and escorted us back to our room afterward. They took great care of us. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it yourself!

The 24-hour butler service was incredibly warm and attentive, and the airport transfers were high-end and hassle-free. The location is absolutely fantastic – close to the ancient city and great food, offering a peaceful retreat while still being convenient for getting around. Whether it's for business or leisure, you'll experience genuinely high-quality accommodation here. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Datong!

A hotel with a warm touch. From its design and cultural ambiance to its service, everything is top-notch. The rooms are quiet, and privacy is excellent. The thoughtful details, like the choice of bedding, the Guanshia toiletries, and the wooden toothbrushes, really show the hotel's dedication to quality. Overall, I would definitely choose Jixia Shan again on my next visit to Datong.

The public areas and room courtyards have a fantastic design, and the environment is lovely. The butler service was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is conveniently located right behind the Southeast City attractions, making sightseeing incredibly easy. I highly recommend experiencing Jixiashan when you visit Datong!

Before check-in, a butler contacted me, added me to a group chat, and sent me a guide to the hotel's parking and recommendations for local restaurants. Upon arrival, after parking the car (there were many fast and slow charging stations, which was a big plus), staff were already there to assist with luggage. The hotel's design is absolutely stunning and aesthetically pleasing. As a boutique hotel, it has a swimming pool and a gym, both fully staffed, which is great. The breakfast is semi-buffet style with good quality dishes, and for those who want to sleep in, there are simple grab-and-go breakfast boxes available. Even more surprisingly, during the May Day holiday, there were various cultural activities, such as a fantastic fire show in the evening, which made the stay well worth the price.

This guesthouse was quite a pleasant surprise! The overall design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with every detail meticulously crafted. The service was also very attentive, from check-in to check-out, everything felt thoughtful. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, and the quality of the fruits was pretty good. Right outside, there's a rather artistic commercial street, so the location is great.
