For our last night in Datong, we decided to experience staying within the ancient city. This guesthouse is ideally located near the North Gate, offering a peaceful retreat as it's a little removed from the bustling city center. It's a charming, stand-alone villa with its own private courtyard, beautifully designed by the owner with a very artistic touch. So many thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing small details made me fall in love with the place the moment I stepped in. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with well-coordinated colors that made it feel very tidy. The bathroom with a separate wet and dry area was also super convenient. The landlady was incredibly nice too. All in all, a fantastic accommodation choice in Datong!

The room would be perfect if it were a bit bigger. Overall, the stay was great, breakfast was good, and the service was warm and friendly. If I come back to visit, this will be my first choice. It offers excellent value for money, and I'd highly recommend it to my friends.

The whole place is smart, very clean, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Disposable bath towels are provided, and the bedding is quite comfortable. Every butler is warm and attentive, and you can even borrow bicycles for free.

The location within the ancient city was perfect, and the hostess even provided bicycles, which made exploring the old town incredibly convenient. The breakfast was healthy and substantial. The accommodation was clean and the environment was elegant. Before we left, the hostess even gave us a small gift, which was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! My only complaint is that the room was too close to the elevator and the front desk.

This is definitely the most satisfying guesthouse we've stayed at in Datong! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I remember one time we were rushing and didn't have time for breakfast, so they specially prepared a simple breakfast for us to eat on the go. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and we were all very comfortable. The heating works wonderfully, so it didn't feel cold at all, even staying in winter. The breakfast cooked by the auntie at the guesthouse was also delicious; we finished it all in no time. We're definitely planning to stay here again next time!

This is a fantastic B&B! The front desk staff was so welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and tidy, with a great design and stylish decor. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!
