A hidden gem in the city! I was cured by the faint scent of traditional medicine last night. The courtyard environment is tranquil and serene, and the Traditional Chinese Medicine massage I experienced swept away all my fatigue. The medicinal breakfast was wonderfully warming for the stomach. Every detail was perfect, and I'll definitely be back!

My friend and I originally booked this hotel for a photoshoot, but the view outside the window was completely different from the reference pictures – it was a construction site! Workers would walk by very close downstairs from time to time. The soundproofing was terrible, and the front desk service was mediocre. Paying over 800 for a hotel like this was truly bad luck. This is my first time leaving a negative review.

A truly delightful stay! This guesthouse is nestled deep within a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital complex inside Datong's Ancient City, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. From the spiral staircase in the courtyard, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the old city's rooftops. The room decor was stylish, the bedding exceptionally comfortable, and they even provided traditional herbal pillows, ensuring a very restful sleep. For breakfast, we had authentic knife-cut noodles with a wonderfully fragrant and spicy chili oil – absolutely delicious!

It's located within a traditional Chinese medicine clinic in the ancient city. The staff were exceptionally good, though the room itself was a bit old-fashioned. However, the location is fantastic; you can see the drone show at Daiwang Mansion right from the second-floor attic, so there's no need to battle the crowds. Plus, it's right in the central Drum Tower area, which is incredibly convenient.

It's clean and tidy, and breakfast is served individually. You can ask for more if you finish it. They offer healthy options like brown sugar buns and millet porridge – a very nourishing breakfast!

The location is fantastic, offering great views of the drone show. It's also super convenient for exploring the ancient city. Plus, it's a B&B located inside a traditional Chinese medicine shop, so you can even get some health remedies or enjoy TCM drinks. A truly unique and wonderful experience!

Booked this hotel and had a fantastic time in Datong! The location is superb, really convenient for dining. You're practically right next to Zini, Longjuxiang, and Fenglingge. During the summer holidays, it was quite busy, so we'd grab a number and head back to the hotel to relax while waiting – very comfortable. It was also easy to get around; we could walk to Huayan Temple, Guandi Temple, and several other ancient city attractions in about five minutes. For places further out, getting a taxi right outside was also fine. The decor is very antique and charming, and the cleanliness was good! Despite being within the ancient city walls, it was genuinely quiet, and I'm very satisfied~

The house is very clean, and it's a unique courtyard. The staff are very kind and provide excellent service.
