This guesthouse has a lovely, lively atmosphere. The animals in the courtyard really bring the place to life, and their caretaker is so kind. The animals are well-behaved and adorable! The interior furnishings are very practical, and the two-story, loft-style room was a big hit with the kids. It also has a small balcony full of plants and flowers, which was perfect for drying clothes. The owner is incredibly welcoming and even brought fresh fruit every day at noon. The location is excellent too. Highly recommend!

Facilities: There are many cute little animals. Cleanliness: It's quite clean. As soon as you enter, it feels very comfortable. Environment: I'd give the environment a perfect score. Why? Because it's right next to Huayan Temple, and the carpet is very clean since it's a multi-story building. Service: Whatever fruit you want to eat, they'll bring it to you right away, and the proprietresses are also very polite and kind.

The hotel is located above a jewelry store, and there's a direct elevator to the rooms. The room itself is lovely, with the bed upstairs and the bathroom and a dining area downstairs. It comes with a smart bidet toilet and disposable bath towels. The owner is incredibly kind; she gave us a lot of fruit 🍉 and bottled water. We had a really pleasant stay here! 🥳

This hotel boasts an excellent location within the ancient city, right next to Huayan Temple and the West Gate of the city wall, with a variety of dining options nearby. The proprietress is friendly, warm, and attentive, providing overall thoughtful service. The hotel environment is clean and tidy. The second-floor patio features a tea set, koi fish, peacocks, and parrots, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The guesthouse rooms are well-equipped with all necessary facilities, including a full range of toiletries.

The room was very clean, and the owner was incredibly kind, upgrading our room for us. The location is super convenient, right inside the ancient city next to Huayan Temple. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Ive just left the Inn and on the train to the next destination. I wish I could stay longer as this was such a pleasant stay. The boss lady was so nice. I booked just a basic room but got upgraded to almost a studio flat with separate bedroom in the mezzanine and lounge downstairs. Everytime I come back from sightseeing, all hot tired, the boss lady gave me a bowl of delicious melons. It was sweet and juicy. The best melons I have had. The second time she also gave me bananas. It was so much needed. The hotel is in the perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 1. From Datongnan station there are buses 608 or 61 which takes you directly to Huayansi stop, less than 1min from the hotel. However, the hotel frontage is a jewelry shop, I didn't know so ended up walking up/down the street for 10mins before the boss lady realised and came out to tell me I have arrived. 2. If you want to go to Yungang Grottoes. From the same bus stop take bus 38, then change to bus 3 to get to the Grottoes. Journey time about an hour in total. And cost 4RMB (2RMB per bus). However, you have to set up some kind of public travel app from Wechat to get the QR code to pay the bus fare. I didn't know this. Fortunately, some nice people helped pay my fare, then another lovely girl helped set up the app enabling me to use the bus from then as when I arrived and took the bus from the train station to hotel Wechatpay didn't work. Fortunately the driver let me ride for free as I guess he realised Im foreign and don't have this app. Only when I took the bus to Yungang Grottoes, the girl told me I need to set up the travel app etc and helped me set it up. 3. The hotel is also right opposite to the Huayan temple. A beautiful ancient temple. Deffo can't be missed. We stayed here at the end of May 2026 and had a wonderful experience. The property is truly unique, full of character, and beautifully maintained. The owners warmly welcomed us and were very helpful in providing information and guidance about the city, making it easy for us to find our way around. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bedrooms were quiet and peaceful, and all the spaces were spacious and spotlessly clean. The newly renovated bathroom was modern and equipped with every comfort. We highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again.

This guesthouse is perfectly located right next to Huayan Temple, within the ancient city, and surrounded by countless restaurants and cafes, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the soundproofing is excellent. The courtyard on the second floor is very charming, with parrots singing, koi fish swimming, and peacocks nearby. The fresh flowers and greenery create a truly idyllic atmosphere, like a hidden paradise. The owner was very kind, offering a free room upgrade and late check-out, making us feel completely at home. It was fantastic, and I hope to stay here again soon.

Location: Right opposite Huayan Temple, perfect for an early visit the next day to avoid the crowds! Food: Super convenient. For breakfast, you can walk to Xijindao in five minutes. For dinner, there are many options within walking distance. Inn: The room design is excellent, with two levels, separating the living and sleeping areas. It was my child's first time staying in a two-story inn, and they were thrilled! Opening the door leads straight to a small courtyard with cute little animals. Room cleaning was also very prompt, and the room was spotless. Service: Warm and friendly. As soon as we returned, the proprietress cut fruit for us. The owner saw that my child liked the squirrels and even gave them walnuts to feed them. This wonderful inn truly deserves a strong recommendation! I've stayed in many hotels over the years, but the experience at this inn was just as good, if not better, and provided so much extra joy! Five-star recommendation! The owner is super nice! The environment is fantastic, and there's an elevator so no need to climb stairs. The balcony is huge. In the courtyard, they have all sorts of birds, including peacocks. What an amazing guesthouse!

Great location with easy access to attractions, right across the street from Huayan Temple. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, and the owner was very welcoming. Excellent value for money.

This hotel is located right in the old city, just a ten-minute walk to Daiwang Mansion and a one-minute walk to Huayan Temple, which is incredibly convenient. The owners are very warm and welcoming, and their service is excellent. They even offer complimentary fruit. The accommodations are great, with good soundproofing and all the necessary facilities. I highly recommend staying here.
