I had an unpleasant start with this hotel - the reception staff told me that my booking with Trip.com was unacceptable and there were no record of my booking. Fortunately I was able to reach Trip.com's Customer Service personnel, Ms Yolanda who was able to resolve the matter with the hotel. All in, it took about 40 mins before I could finally checked-in. This hotel badly needs to be refurbished - the aircond leaked badly and not cold throughout my 3 days stay, the shower spray is quite dysfunctional, the sink is small - no place to put any toiletries, has no stopper and some of my toiletries fell into the sink hole were irretrievable. The swimming pool is dirty as there is no control and supervision on the people using the pool who were NOT wearing proper swimming attire and were barefooted with sands when they went into the pool. The only upside of this hotel is its location, which is right at the Babak ferry wharf, save time to queue at the ferry terminal and the hotel security assists its guests with cars in getting in and out of the queue.
