Davis Hotels with Breakfast

We have stayed at this location several times before. The front desk has shifted to more of a non helpful atmosphere and just a quick check in check out service. Forget trying to move to another room if the room they put you in smells, dirty or the air conditioner is not working. Once they pick a room for you, you are stuck and they will not accommodate you in any way. They like to say… “ we are fully booked” even though the parking lot is near empty or semi-full in the late hours of the night. We experienced poor service the last visit. I am trying it out one more time and if the same service and subpar room, then I will provide another write up explaining the experience. I hope this hotel can go back to its friendly, accommodating staff and cleaner rooms with working lights and air conditioner.

The hotel is going to roll up as early as possible. General service, due to catching up with the graduation ceremony, it is very expensive

It's ok, it's very suitable for a very quiet outing

This hotel has lived for 10 consecutive days and has convenient transportation. The only drawback is that it is a little farther away from the center of Davis Town. However, the town is not too big to accept. There is a swimming pool and you can enjoy the American pastoral scenery! Go to Davis University to drive. Also very convenient, I will live next time.

I stay in this hotel every time. The best thing is the service staff. They are always helpful. They helped me adjust the room and adjust the last room. The location is very convenient, and it is easy to drive and park. My wife also likes to visit TJmax next door.

I am a customer who booked a room at the Vine Inn for two days in April, 2022. The stay was unpleasant due to unsatisfactory maintenance and terrible service there, and I will try to tell the story as objectively as possible: 1. Upon arrival, the parking lot was full. Their parking lot has approximately 14 spots for more than 20 units, so complimentary parking advertised on their website is not guaranteed. I was instructed by the front desk to park on the street. 2. Upon entering the room, there was an unwashed mug below the coffee maker with coffee stain on it. The room was recently remodeled so the overall quality is fine. Specifically, the TV was nice and new so I tried to turn the TV on but could not find the remote. I tried to call front desk but the telephone had no “front desk” label and neither was any instructions or labels nearby. I then walked to the front desk (~10-11PM) but it was locked down, so I went back to my room to do some work but there was no pen and paper provided in the room. 3. In the next morning, I received a ticket for parking on the street. The fine amount was 50 dollars. Then did I realize that from 8AM-6PM there is only 2-hour parking at downtown Davis, but these angled parking spots do not have signs at each spot like mostly everywhere else. The sign is ~100 feet away near the intersection so it is hard to be found at night. I was not informed by the front desk about limited street parking. 4. When I went to the front desk to file a complaint, I requested to talk with the supervisor and cancel the second night for staying with a full refund (yes, only the second night that I am not staying). I was told that the supervisor was not there today. I then requested the supervisor’s phone number to explain the issues and discuss a solution, but I was told that they cannot give me the phone number. I therefore requested the front desk to call the supervisor and pass on the message or make a decision on behalf of the supervisor, the request was also declined. I was told that I have to email the supervisor myself via their general info email address. At this point, it seems obvious that they do not want to resolve this issue at all. I did persist and send the email according to their suggestion, and I also attached my phone number and requested a phone call, but there is no surprise that I have never heard from them since then. I am writing this review four days or two business days after my stay. Below is my subjective opinion: the issues above were only minor issues and very easy to resolve, but the way they handled this showed how poor their service and management were. They could have canceled the second night and given me their hotel credit for one night’s worth or at least the equal fifty dollars for the parking ticket (even though everybody knows that I am never coming back), but they have chosen to waste 15 minutes of my life writing down this long review. If you are choosing to live at downtown Davis, just stay in

The location is very good and the parking space is adequate. There are not many varieties of breakfast. Fruit and coffee are available 24 hours a day. Davis is not big, the hotel is very close to Davis University. Every stay can meet parents who come to see the children.

I wanted to enjoy my Christmas in a hotel with a jetted tub so I looked online and to my surprise this gem popped up. The room was great and the staff was awesome. The downtown area was pretty much empty with very limited food options due to the holiday but there was a delicious Chinese restaurant across the way that was open so that was nice. They have a bar that was closed and they are connected to Bernardo Cafe. Will definitely come back to get the full experience

The room is small but more economical and comfortable, and there is a microwave and refrigerator and coffee machine in the room! The front desk service is very nice. Go out and walk not too late, the walking distance is five or six snack streets, there are countless Asian restaurants, and there are dessert shops similar to fresh taro fairy. Opposite the hotel is a small convenience store with a complete set of organs open to two or three o'clock, and many things can be purchased there. There is also a Chinese supermarket about 15 minutes walk. Ten minutes walk into the ucd campus, then you can see the uc davis brand, there are many graduates who have taken pictures recently. Restaurants are really many, cuisines are all walking 5-30 minutes away. My room is opposite a very famous California chain brunch shop. I live on the first floor, the room is on the outside, just on the roadside, the room is soundproof.
