Waren schon mehrmals auf dem Campingstellplatz des Hotels und nun das erste Mal im Hotelzimmer. Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit toller Dampfsauna und freundlichem Personal. Getränke der Minibar sowie Tickets für die Ortsbusse waren inklusive. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um uns vier Tage lang zu erholen und im Wellnessbereich zu sonnen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Von Aussen sieht das Hotel etwas betagt aus, aber dieser äussere Anschein trügt. Das Hotel ist im Inneren schön und modern ausgestattet.

Wir mussten krankheitshalber 1 Zimmer von total 3 Zimmern kurzfristig annulieren (mit Arztzeugnis)! Bei unserem Telefonanruf für die Stornierung des Zimmers war die Rezeption freundlich und versprach zu helfen.
Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir die Auskunft, dass wir das stormierte Zimmer (Doppelzimmer mit Einzelbelegung Fr. 377.--) voll bezahlen müssten. Wir haben keinen Zimmerschlüssel erhalten (wurde das Zimmer - in der Hochaisson - etwa nochmals anderen Hotelgästen verkauft?) zudem mussten wir auch das nicht eingenommene Frühstück bezahlen!
So etwas ist absolut Kundenunfreundlich - 0% kullant!
Daher diese Bewertung und für uns ein Grund niemals mehr dieses Hotel zu buchen!

There was no bellboy and you have to find a cart for the luggage yourself. The hotel itself is quite nice and the rooms seem to be new & very clean. Nice breakfast buffet - missing a proper coffee ( just machines there). The the rest is a very good selection of everything. Very friendly staff in the hotel. Location is kind of close to Jakobshorn bahn and center, so everything in walking distance

Für Ruhesuchende und solche die kein Englisch können nicht geeignet.Essen Gut, Personal kann zum Teil nur Englisch .Das geht gar nicht. Keine nachfrage ob alles gut ist. Hat so Charme wie in der Bahnhofhalle und vom Lärm her wie am Ballermann.

This hotel has deteriorated significantly since it changed hands. The quality and choice of food is significantly worse both at breakfast and dinner. Also, the staff are much less service oriented and give the impression of not caring less. When this hotel was run by Sun Star this was a brilliant hotel where everyone went out of there way to ensure perfection but this is no longer the case. The new operator appears to be much more interested in hiking prices and reducing costs. Overall, very disappointing and a shadow of its former self.

We were made very welcome with so many of the staff able to speak English as a result of our lack of German. Rooms and food excellent.Free travel on local buses and trains was an added bonus. Any query was promptly deal with in a very clear manner. A south facing room gives a clear view along the valley.

Wir waren schon öfters in der Buurestube zum Abendessen. Uns ist sehr positiv ausgefallen, dass es im Sunstar Hotel - trotz der enormen Grösse - sehr persönlich ist. Wir wurden von Restaurantleiter Andreas jedesmal mit dem Namen angesprochen. Schade, dass er nach 10 Jahren das Haus verlässt. Aber auch Joaquim hat einen wunderbaren, sehr aufmerksamen Service gemacht. Auch das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.
