Family-friendly Hotels in Daxin

The hotel is very nice and cosy. The staff mostly is awesome and very friendly. Excellent food at the restaurant and every evening there was a small special thing (bread, soup, etc…). Every evening there was an outdoor fire and cooking in a wood fired oven. The owner is very friendly and ready to help. Food and breakfast are excellent. No western food. For breakfast , there is good coffee available. It is possible to get bread and fried eggs on demand if you don’t like Chinese breakfast. Surroundings are great. You can borrow bikes from the hotel to go around through the rice fields and the mountains. Great place to use a drone if you have one. It was too cold for us but there is a swimming pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view. We visited the Detian water falls and the Gulongshan canyon. To sum up, great place for a family trip or for couples

Send pure water and tea bags. The hot water is large and the air conditioner is used normally. There is a parking lot, in the hotel, convenient parking. It is a good choice for friends traveling by car. The public restaurant diagonally opposite has more dishes and the price is close to the people. recommend

The location is very good and the room can be used as a tourist attraction hotel. It's just that dining is inconvenient. Breakfast in the restaurant is OK. At other times, the dishes are expensive and the variety is not very delicious. The restaurant is closed during non-meal times. The nearby farmhouses are also very expensive and not delicious, so it is a pity that the beautiful scenery is not accompanied by delicious food. There were hosts and performances on New Year's Eve that were well attended, and the fireworks were beautiful. You need to take your luggage and walk a long way to the room, which is inconvenient. There are electric cars but it is not easy to provide services. It is very noisy during construction. The free bamboo raft tour provided by the hotel is not bad.

The stay was very comfortable, the room was clean and hygienic, the boss was very enthusiastic, the boss introduced the surrounding play and routes in detail, very suitable for us to go out without a strategy, hehe! The street in front of the hotel is clean and tidy, there is free parking nearby, the surrounding environment is beautiful, the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area is too beautiful, there are few people at this time, and it is very beautiful to take a shot. The whole scenic spot is about half a day after playing. The time is not very long. You can play slowly and very comfortable!

There is its own parking lot at the entrance of the hotel, parking is convenient, the hotel is strategically located, close to the visitor center, convenient for eating and shopping around, and convenient for renting a battery car. The room facilities are complete and the front desk sister is very good. But the breakfast is relatively simple, and the barbecue stall downstairs is noisy at night.

With the current travel restrictions we were nervous we’d not be allowed into the province and the hotel staff were helpful getting us the information we needed to enter the county and final arrive at their hotel. We felt taken care of and they arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. They greeted us with smiles, the housekeeper left fruits and a nice hand written note, and the front desk did their best to make our stay a comfortable one. We were traveling with our toddler and the food options were delicious and affordable. We want to say thank you to Chen Kai for going out of his way to make us feel special and welcomed. He speaks English and made many great suggestions regarding travel, activities, and calling the hospitals to see where we could get our nucleic test. The space is surrounded my mountains and it’s green everywhere you look. You can take a boat ride along the river located just in front of the property. Currently there is construction on one side, they are expanding the facilities. The whole space is nice as worth a visit. We didn’t give a 5 for amenities because we felt it could have catered more to families.

The chicken soup at Liangshu Restaurant next to the hotel is so delicious, a three-jin chicken soup is only 118 yuan. The hotel is a seven-minute walk from the old kapok scenic spot and the spring is beautiful. Going to the waterfall needs to take a sightseeing car, or park there when you drive to the card, then walk 1.5 kilometers to the ticket gate. The waterfall must be beautiful and worth it.

Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

The location is good, opposite to the parking lot of Detian Waterfall, you can park your car there when you stay at the hotel, and the charge is 10 yuan within 24 hours. There are many restaurants downstairs. The room is big, but the design of the toilet is like home, not like a hotel. The toilet paper towels are not in the toilet, but to the left of the TV. Toothpaste and toothbrush are not in the toilet, but to the right of the TV. Dust and stains can be seen everywhere, there are water stains in the mouthwash cup, and there are actually 2 socks on the coat rack, speechless. There are few varieties of breakfast and the buns are cold. Added 20 yuan per person, it is not recommended to eat here.

The attic room is on the first floor, and the sound of rain has been dripping on the ground, and I can't sleep well. When I originally booked, I saw the comments about the poor sound insulation, but I realized it after experience. It's really bad, especially the attic, which should be welded with the next room. My friend speaks normally in the next room, and I can hear it clearly. I hope the sound insulation can be improved. Pay attention, change it! There are umbrellas, induction cookers, range hoods, refrigerators, washing machines, desks, and dining tables in the room. It is very good for family travel. You can cook and eat. There are batteries on the first floor and attic, so there is no conflict with watching TV with your baby. Others are generally good, very cost-effective, and worth recommending.
