Tropic Shores Resort

The weather was not great. Because of the tide and high winds, you could not walk on the beach. Even if you could there is nothing to look at, either high sea walls or a rough ocean. The staff was very friendly.

First time at Tropic Shores and I was very pleased. Their pool deck was destroyed by the last hurricane, so work was going on to build a new pool, hot tub and pool deck. However, access to the beach is right next to the building, so we just walked out the front door and around to the beach. Their staff was extremely nice and helpful, very clean, and comfortable. I liked that they supplied beach towels, and beach equipment, if you needed it. I would highly recommend

FINALLY!!! RCI got it right!!! I have stayed several times using RCI, as I am a Hilton member. This is the FIRST TIME RCI has come through 100%!!! Thank you to the managers and staff of this wonderful little hole-in-the-wall condo!!! My wife and I spent our 10 year anniversary and I had a little surprise for her. First, the staff could NOT have been better and Ilene should be commended for all the extra effort she and her team did for us. Thank you Ilene!!! Second, the manager of this building hired a fantastic staff!!! Why do I say this? Even though the building is going through extensive renovations, the entire place was clean and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. Third, any issues we had were dealt with IMMEDIATELY without question, including stopped up drain. The maintenance staff not only IMMEDIATELY fixed this issue, which turned out to be more extensive than he thought, but they checked back with us. Great job!!! And finally, I am glad the manager is buying new mattresses, as the old ones are horrible; however, in the meantime, the manager and the wherewithal to purchase thick foam covers until the renovations are complete. All-in-all, RCI should be proud and should DEFINITELY take some time to see what THIS manager is doing and learn from them!!! If every RCI resort was run this well, I actually may enjoy an RCI stay in the future. And best of all... NO HIDDEN OR SURPRISE EXTRA FEES or charges for use of the property, like other RCI locations. We will DEFINITELY put this location as a favorite for the east coast! Thank you very much!!!!

this property has all oceanfront units and its smaller so no wait for elevators. 2br and end units with more windows/light. spacious, both br have queens. daily towel exchange option and room freshening if requested. immaculate grounds, a few activities (daily ice cream, 2x/wk bingo, etc.) and beach access is right next door (no pool/deck for awhile). this year if you want to sleep in be aware theres a lot of loud construction all day beginning early. Lots of conveniences nearby, parking good, shade of building in late aft. New mattresses and were excellent.

The ladies at checkin were very friendly, as was the housekeeping staff. The rooms were small but clean and well supplied & maintained. It’s not the pool deck that is closed, it’s the pool & hot tub.

OMG I LOVE THE PLACE THE ROOM THE ARCADE ALSO THE STAFF AND THE STORE AND THE ICE CREAM AND THE GAME ROOM ITS AMAZING! THE POOL IT A DREAM POOL AND THE SAFF IS VERY NICE AND VERY HELPFULL SO I SUGGEST GO ING AND STAYING A MOUNTH AND HAVE FUNN!!!!

We found a lot of great restaurants and activities local to the resort. And, it was special to be overlooking the beach and Atlantic when in the room. The pool area was still damaged from the hurricanes, but the building is in great shape, we look forward to returning after the pool area is rebuilt.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed. Beach access was easy despite the lack of pool or deck due to hurricane damage. We were especially happy to find an Italian Coffee and Pastry shop right across the street, and a very good Italian restaurant within a very short walk.

We have exchanged into this beach front property several times with 7Across.com (formerly DAE). We were booked into this property for Thanksgiving week, but unfortunately, Tropic Shores was closed because they got clobbered by 2 hurricanes. We had booked it with 7Across Flex-it (Insurance) and 7Across did a great job of making us "whole". Even with the Pool, Deck, Hot Tub and entrance to the beach closed, when the 1st week of January came open we booked it. The public beach access next door was open to pedestrians, which was great. Staff was great and offered amenities.
