Hotel Concord Syracuse, Ascend Hotel Collection

We booked this hotel for the Syracuse University graduation weekend so we paid an exorbitant price. The roon was nice but that's about all that was positive. The housekeeping was non-existent, the breakfast was minimal and selection poor. The facility needed a good cleaning and the staff seemed uninterested except at the main desk. We concluded the staff was overwhelmed by the graduation crowds, but we would certainly not return.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotless, and the price was great!

The room was fine except maybe hadn’t been used in a while. Where the artwork was supposed to be on the bed side wall had only remnants of tape and glue. Bathroom lights, only half of them worked. Bathroom toilet paper holder broken. Bathroom tub water dial wouldn’t stay at desired temp due to handle slipping. Fixtured loose in the wall. They are definitely due to renovate or st least gix this one room.

Decent for a short overnight stay. The hotel is a bit rundown and could use some upgrades, but it’s acceptable for the price.

There were no hand towels or washcloths in the room when we got there. There was no hot water to take showers and I found a cockroach in the bathroom on the tub. They only serve breakfast till 9am.

The staff were so nice and helpful. They answered our questions and gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. The hotel was nice and clean. We would stay here again!

Excellent experience. Fast and easy check in and a clean room. 24 hour coffee in the lobby was great also for our early departure.
