Very comfortable, clean accommodation at a reasonable price. Excellent location opposite the beach /sea, within walking distance of very good restaurants and the railway station. All staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel restaurant was very good for an evening meal. Perfect for a short break. We walked on 2 days . Weather was mixed and we were cold and wet, especially on the Saturday, by the time we got back to the hotel. A real bonus was the availability of heating in the bathroom and bedroom, despite being June. Without heating we would have been very miserable.

On the sea front. Very well located. walking distance to restaurants and the castle. Dunkerley is the kind of cozy family owned old house hotel. We took a room with full seaview. It was great. Spacious, the bed was king, linnens were nice. Bathroom is a bit old. But still very clean and functional. Breakfast was delicious.

Visit involving a show at the lovely Astor Theatre. Dunkerleys is so convenient & Deal a great place to stay for a few days.
