The location of the hotel is very good, right by the sea, and there is a restaurant. The sea view room has a terrace, which is very beautiful. The setup is neat, but the floor: it's really old... sloping floors, dusty exhaust fans. It doesn't matter, the most unbearable thing is the sound insulation, there is almost no sound insulation. Outside, the stairs are bang dong dong, walking upstairs is bang dong dong, and the bathroom next door is cluttered... Because the terrace is shared and interconnected... At night, you must lock the balcony door and draw the curtains... Then there is no ventilation, and it is super stuffy. I came back from dinner on the last night and found that the door was actually open. Later, I found that I lost a pair of earphones... Although I can't say that I have to contact, it is very bad...
No wonder the location is so good, but the price is cheap...a price for a product.

Another enjoyable stay at the Royal Albion - as before the staff were first class - friendly, welcoming and efficient - a big thank you to the receptionist and the breakfast host who always goes the extra mile and takes time to speak with guests. Our room overlooked Viking Bay, comfortable, refurbished with a terrace which has also been updated and is a pleasant place to sit.

Dusty stained carpet and furniture. Toilet didn't flush properly, had to go to reception to use disabled toilet. Bath tub filthy and has marks all over. Spoilt our 10th wedding anniversary. It was more cleaner to stay on the beach. Not value for money.

Our room was extremely hot , we spoke to reception and they promptly charged our room.
Breakfast was excellent all good quality ingredients staff were very good and helpful

Excellent Hotel, Fantastic Location, Great Food! We stayed at the Albion Hotel and ended up eating there too. The price included a la carte breafast in the delightful dining room overlooking the waterfront. We ate dinner there too. The beer battered fish and chips was about the best fish I've ever had, crunchy to the last bite. Steak excellent too, tender and succulent! This historic hotel is situated right on the waterfront cliff top overlooking the beach. You won't find a better location or place to stay!

We had our wedding reception at the hotel. Lisa was brilliant at arranging the day and including all of the little details that really counted. Natalia, George and rest of staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best day. Food, venue and setting all excellent.

Great location ….. loved the staff ….. great bar area ….. very clean rooms throughout Next time I’m passing I think we will return for sure ………. A very nice town to wander also ….. a five star all in trip ……… Broadstairs has many bars ~ restaurants ~ cinema etc
