What a superb place The Coach House is - excellently fitted out, the attention to detail was obvious throughout including the fun mezzanine. We wish our kids were still young enough to want to come with us! What a special surprise the Scandinavian BBQ hut is too - just perfect for a lovely, intimate evening. Within easy reach of everything The Lakes has to offer, including a less than 5 minute walk to the pub! Thank you Eileen & Jerry - we will definitely be back! x

My husband, Molly the dog and I, spent a fantastic 4 night stay in the Coach House. Gerry and Eileen were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. Great choices for breakfast and the food was lovely. The accommodation was beautiful, very comfortable, so relaxing and the private hot tub outside was the ticket after a long day travelling around the Lake District. I have to say the extra touches make all the difference and the lit up woodland path at night was magical, Molly loved her night stroll around the grounds. We will definitely be back more than once.

I stayed in the Mackintosh room - a delightful cosy room with great views and a perfect sunrise. Eileen and Gerry made me feel really at home, with great service and had the best sleeps ever on a super comfy bed with lovely linen. The attention to detail was amazing - leaving you feel well looked after. The surrounding countryside is quiet and red squirrels and (Mitzy) the dog were incredible, as were the views, a pro was the rural location which maybe a con for others. There is easy access to pubs for suppers, but the amazing afternoon tea is good value and excellent quality. Eileen goes to great lengths for any allergies - so I didn't feel like a nuisance. Lovely local produce for breakfast and very unique hash browns. It is a really creative space even has its own art gallery - in a grand Georgian house with unique decor and luxurious accessories - I loved the toiletries my hair really shone - I wanted to buy some!!!

Thank you so much for yesterday Eileen and Gerry, the family and I had a lovely experience, the atmosphere was so calming with a very warm welcome. It was certainly one of my best mothers day surprises. Tea was so delicious, and plenty of it. Thank you both.xx

We recently went here for Valentine’s afternoon tea, opting for the Italian version instead of traditional. OMG it was delicious, so much food and the quality and presentation was excellent. What a lovely place, really did have the wow factor, so much attention to detail. . Hosts were lovely, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. They also gave us a tour of the rooms they have, as part of their B&B business, again wow. We have travelled a lot not seen any thulium this in while. Congratulations to them both.

I stayed 3 nights in the most wonderful bed and breakfast, situated 4 miles from Lowes water in the little village of Branthwaite. The accommodation was luxurious and spotless and the attention to detail was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of choice. Beds were very comfortable and the owners have thought of everything that you will need or want. Eileen and Gerry are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you with. It is a place I will go back to stay at, I have a feeling that this place is going to become very popular

All the little details were just right, to make our stay very comfortable. More than that, a lot of thought had obviously gone into delighting guests with the beautiful artwork, from the paintings on the wall to the fruit bowls! We are looking forward to making return visits.

We had a lovely nights stay in The Coach House Nestled away in the grounds. Our room was absolutely stunning. Spotlessly clean. Luxurious furnishings and art work throughout. This suite has 2 extra beds in the mezzanine Hay loft, ideal hideaway for the little ones and also a sofa bed. It has easy access for wheel chair users and is Dog friendly. The large beautiful shower room has 2 basins, one lower one ideal for wheel chair users, and the little ones. We had our own private patio area with a hot tub, sun loungers and a picnic table and it was just wonderful. Our bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping on the clouds. We had the most comfortable and peaceful nights sleep ever, there wasn’t a sound to be heard anywhere. We also had a scrumptious Afternoon Tea and Breakfast in their beautiful dining room and the food and service was outstanding. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway. Then The Art Lounge is the place to be. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend visiting. Thank you Eileen & Gerry for being the nicest hosts we’ve ever come across. We had the best time and just didn’t want to leave.
