The Hotel Barrière Royal Deauville is a real Grandhotel with the perfect service. From check in to check out the hotel you get a perfect, unset service as guest. Quality of food at breakfast of high quality. Restaurant like a large ballroom in warm colours and views towards the beach. Outdoor pool with service and very good beds. Sauna and steam bath small but renewed. Very good concierge service. Thank you especially Mr. Sagot and Sophie, who are always there for the guest. We are clearly prefering the Royal to the Partner Hotel Normandy. Happy Easter 2022!

We could not be more disappointed in the hotel. The room is tiny as is the bathroom. We are in one of their nicest rooms. I would had to see a standard room. The front desk staff was professional and nice but it stopped there. The concierge was grumpy and acted like he was doing me a favor. We had a snack and drink in the bar which is a nice spot. Also, the hotel is not on the beach as advertised. We would never stay here again.

We had a large room (33 sm) on the 2nd floor (3rd in US) with 2 balconies, one of which overlooked the horse stables that service the nearby racetrack (fascinating to watch them work). There is a lift, so luggage is not a problem. The room also had blackout shutters, a full minibar refrigerator, a Keurig coffeemaker and 2 TV screens (one for the sitting area and one for the bed.) The toilet is a separate room apart from the bathroom and very close to the sleeping area. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed time sitting out by the small pool

This is the fourth time my husband and I go down to this hotel and sincerely I have absolutely nothing to say about the warm welcome of the receptionists or their professionalism! We have not returned to it since the first confinement and when I read some opinions, I thought the quality of the rooms has deteriorated or the staff has changed but I've been pleasantly surprised by what I found I'll even say that The rooms have been renovated! I recommend again without hesitate, don't trust the bad criticisms!

One of our two cats managed to infiltre behind the wooden furniture under the washing machine When we pulled it to try to recover the animal we found that there was also dust. At first I failed to get it out. I warned the receptionist who went up, and just as I saw that under this bathroom there were a lot of cravaters and pieces of plastic tube... at the end I managed to get the cat out that was to be dust. We are regular customers of Pierre and holidays and this is the first time we have found a lack of hygiene as important.
