it smelled bad

This was our second time staying at the Baymont. The first time several years ago was an enjoyable experience. This stay was not pleasant. The room was not very clean and the bed sheets were wrinkled like someone had slept in them and bed just remade. No hot breakfast and only regular lukewarm coffee available. Signs mentioned remodeling but no signs of it occurring anywhere other then messy hallways signs. Everything looked tired and beat up. Lots of workmen stay there and sit outside at night to smoke and drink.

I'm a Non smoker and my wife smokes out side all the time and we have a 4years kid and she never smoke inside the room and they can see cameras that my wife coming down stairs all the time to smoke they blamed us that we are smoking and charged extra and we called cops too and asked for evidence and they don't want to go back to room and check for evidence I regret staying there

Nice hotel, clean and all but could use the carpets need shampooed or replaced and walls in our room def needed repainted! Only hotel of 4 I stayed out that had no cont breakfast because of Covid still. Friendly staff

This property is run down with peeling wallpaper, dirty hallways, overgrown landscaping, no luggage carts, and just overall depressing. Our luggage pad on our bed was disgustingly dirty...DURING A PANDEMIC...so we knew there were other issues. Housekeeping didn’t touch our room for four days. Two nights, we had to leave our room in the middle of the night to get fresh air bc the whole place smelled of *********!!! The front desk was kind enough to offer air freshener to us. After two nights of that and beds like slabs of concrete...we were so ready to leave. We will never use Baymont again. Ever.

Austin was helpful when we asked for a room change when our room was not clean and there were not enough working outlets for medical equipment.

The best thing I can say about this hotel is the front desk staff was not rude. They weren’t exactly great either, though. Check in was exactly that. She checked me in and was nice enough. But there was no explanation about breakfast, or any other “amenities” or changes due to “COVID”. Even though all state mandates are no longer in effect, they still have signs up on the front door “requiring masks”. The whole hotel needs remodeling-there are holes and cracks in the walls, some stuff has been half painted, it’s just generally dirty! In the room-it literally looked like the housekeeping staff (hopefully) changed the sheets and towels, and vacuumed. The bathroom sink and counter was dirty, the faucet in the tub was dirty, as well as the towel rack and mirror. The mirror on the wall in the room had fingerprints all over it as well. The microwave had food residue on the turntable plate and all around the inside of the microwave. The lamp looked like it had not been dusted in ages. They also don’t have full size pillows on the bed. There were 3 throw pillow size pillows on each bed. When we went down for breakfast, we had to go all the way to the front desk before we saw any information about how to go about breakfast. They had pre-packaged breakfast options-which were ok-just no info about it! Upon checkout, I assumed they would ask, as most people do, how everything was and I was ready to tell them a few issues…but he didn’t ask, so here’s your review!!

The property was not in good shape. Our room was not clean. Walls were filthy, holes in the walls. Carpet very dirty. Not what I would expect from a Wyndham property.
