As a solo female traveler, I stayed here three nights before going to Rishikesh for a yoga course. While Dehradun isn’t much of a sightseeing destination, I felt safe staying at The Hosteller. The staff were super helpful and the hostel vibe was jovial, consisting of local travelers keen to chat and play guitar/sing on the rooftop in the evening.

While the room was small for a 6 bed dormitory, wash room was spacious and they have nice place to dine and leisure. Also have good wifi. Conveniently located.

Hos-teller is fine just need to take care of wifi only as apart from main reception area signals are dicey in most of the rooms

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown

It was a good overall. Good amenities, good for safety, very clean and also provided warm blankets for the winter stay
