Being in hospitality myself i never ever give a negative review unless absolutely necessary abed useful for future guests. Despite paying exyra for executive room wit riverview the frontdesk exe on callg him the day morning kept saying its overbooked hence i wud get an exe room without the said view. I went ahead thinking my bad luck and maybe hotel will compensate for my extra paymebt otherwise. I was both appalled and maybe felt foolish seeing the absolutely dry river bed while reach g the hotel !. Seeing the unfriendly behaviour of staff at chkin i requested i see the lower priced deluxe room only to be corrected. All rooms are executive only and same size. Some have the "river riew. So no mention of extra payment made by guest. The room was v clean, modern (rn 302 ) and overlooking busy city road so there went my dream peaceful doon holiday. The food at tipsy was good so too the service, so being easy to appease, i let all the above issues slide. But now comes the topping. Our room was adjacent to rooms booked by wedding party and the music amd noise went unabated past midnite til i got really angry 1am. I kept calling fo who was very apologetic but kept saying no. Party is happening in hotel its a single room aberration. The least they cud do was to see our room was on a different floor. So in brief, i checked out earlier b ext morning after a lacklysyre buffet breakfast. Inspite of a fo manager, pretending ignorance abt the noise but apologising. Clarion left a bitter taste in the mouth. Every guest experience is important not just large groups and clarity about room view is prime importance when you charge extra.
