Très bel endroit proche de Gand mais avec un dépaysement total en pleine verdure. La restauration est de qualité. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. Le personnel est charmant et accueillant. J’y retournerai lors de mes prochains déplacements a Gand.

Hôtel qui a eu son heure de gloire mais avec desormais certaines déconvenues. Une literie pas tres propre avec heureusement un monsieur reactif alors que l'heure etait tardive, une douche remplie de calcaire et une dame a l'accueil qui ne cherche pas a comprendre certaines problematiques. En esperant que tout revienne a la normale et que ce n'etait qu'un faux pas comme il peut en exister chez chacun.

Moest op het laatste moment omboeken en kwamen bij dit hotel uit. Prachtige kamer, geweldig ontbijt, mooie omgeving en super vriendelijke mensen. Buiten zitten aan het riviertje bij de ondergaande zon en genieten van de rust. Echt een aanrader!

Het was even geleden dat wij hier nog geweest waren , altijd zeer content geweest trouwens , maar de zaak heeft veel van zijn pluimen verloren . Ten eerste is alles veel te duur , chaos in de bediening , ons hoofdgerecht was al opgediend en de bestelde rode wijn was er nog niet . Die was trouwens ook veel te koud opgediend en werd dan maar in wat warm water gezet om op te warmen …nog nooit meegemaakt ! De vleesgerechten waren ok , maar ook niet de gewenste cuisine en de paling in het groen was niet goed bereid . Teveel spinazie . Ik vraag mij zelfs af of er zuring en citroenmelisse gebruikt zijn , 2 noodzakelijk ingrediënten voor paling in het groen . Ik kan hem thuis veel beter klaarmaken . Tenslotte hebben wij 350 euro betaald voor 4 personen , 1 aperitief , 1 fles wijn , 1 fles water enkele hapjes bij aperitief en een hoofdgerecht . Voor de rest niks . Schandalig duur dus . Jammer om zo een mooie zaak te laten verloederen .

Booked off Internet as an over night stop on way to the Tyrol. Brilliant choice. Comfortable warm room. Fantastic view over the marsh. Just the quiet honking of geese as overnight noise. Great restaurant with terrific evening meal and oodles of breakfast. Would very definitely stay again - and for a couple of days or more. Only concern would be they do weddings so maybe Saturday nights would be less peaceful.

Grote familie tafel met keuze voor verse roggevleugel, spinazie, stoemp en kappertjes. Vlotte bediening en smakelijke wijn nl Chardonnay Neil Ellis. Koffie met stevige huisgemaakte mellow cakes. Allen content na lange winter wandeling & mooi familie moment.

We boekten het Valentijnsarrangement. Dat heeft een vaste menu - wat altijd moeilijk is voor mij omdat ik enkele voedselintoleranties heb. We gaven die op voorhand door, en er werd tot in alle details rekening mee gehouden. Elk onderdeel van een gerecht dat een probleem zou kunnen stellen was bij voorbaat vervangen door iets wat wel veilig was voor mij - en dat allemaal met een brede glimlach. Op deze wijze is lekker uit eten gaan ook voor mij een feest! En lekker was het: topingrediënten, zeer verzorgd en creatief verwerkt tot de heerlijkste gerechten, opgediend in een prachtig kader. Zeker en vast voor herhaling vatbaar!
