Our room was clean and comfortable. I reserved a non-smoking room, however, I still smelled cigarette smoke from in my room. A non-smoking room should not be within smelling distance of a smoking room. And when there are designated rooms, that doesn't mean I should smell smoke in the stairwell either. We tried to take the stairs b/c the elevator was SLOW, but couldn't even get up one flight due to the smell of cigarette smoke. So we waited on the SLOW elevator. Later, saw cigarette ashes and butts down the hallway to the staircase, and saw additional cigarette butts in the stairwell, then realizing the smell was too strong to enter again. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk and she advised she would report it. When we finally checked out, those same butts and ashes were there and we couldn't enter the stairwell for a third time. When we got off the elevator, the smoking ”area” outside had people smoking but they had the door propped open, so that smoke was entering the building. I once again told the front desk, and I was just told, ”Yeah that door is broke, and the cards don't work for that door.” Not very hospitable, and didn't offer anything for me. If you can't stand to be around cigarette smoke, don't stay here. I guess I will always find a complete smoke-free hotel from here on out.

Entire staff is amazing the hotel is very safe very quiet family oriented if I ever needed a mini vacation this was it Days Inn Northlake Parkway Tucker,Ga

Enjoyed this hotel. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Very clean and workers were friendly.

Sheriff was so kind to drive me to my classes and pointed out how to get to the Falcons game. He is friendly, kind and always smiling. The front desk, valets, housekeepers, and other staff are also outstanding. It was nice to be greeted upon my returns. It felt a little like home each time. The rooms are immaculate. The location is nice (there is a mall across the street). It was nice to have a home away from home. Well done , everyone and thank you.

Doubletree and Hilton comes through again!!! I work at a local Atlanta hospital overnight and have come in for a room last minute and in a pinch. Hilton has come through on both occasions with friendly and welcoming service. A trusted brand that makes me proud to be a Diamond Honors member.

Overall I love the hotel. The bed is ok. The breakfast was excellent! What I don’t like is paying $20 per day for parking and having to pay $4.95 per day for Wi-Fi.

All service-centric businesses (hotels) have different touch-points (operations, check-in, front-desk, housekeeping, memberships, parking, etc.) throughout their organization. At each touch-point customers can recognize her DNA which is very apparent.     Moreover, my family and I love both the character and the charm of this hotel - Sonesta Simply Suites / Atlanta Gwinnett Place which does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe at all. Sonesta Simply Suites / Atlanta Gwinnett Place has hit an “HOME RUN” within the Gwinnett County Community and with our family. Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Room was ready & clean, plenty of towels. WIFI instructions easy to follow & TV remote & instructions same. Ice machine easily accessable. I would stay here next time we are in the area.

The website totally misrepresents the hotel. My room showed many signs of serious aging and neglect and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The room was clean, but not at all inviting. The room had one small bottle of shampoo that was already half empty - clearly had not been restocked since the last guest. It was not even enough to wash my hair. I could also hear EVERY WORD from the occupants in the room next to mine. I could smell their food. It was impossible to sleep or work. I will not return and advise others to reconsider. This Inn has fallen on hard times for sure.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. Lots of choices for breakfast! We were assigned king w/jacuzzi, bed was comfortable and the room were spacious.Good relaxing break! Friendly, welcoming staff, very good location. Overall an enjoyable stay. The hotel is old and could do with some renovation, but it seems like this issue is being addressed.”
