Stay was okay but late night front desk was a little confrontational for really no reason and the bathroom was completely disgusting.

Service was great and the employees were very pleasant.

Booked this hotel for the pool but found out it was out of service when we checked in. Room was not very clean and it was just very rundown, mold all around bathroom, peeling wallparer, carpets black where it was meant to be cream color. Even our children made comments about the condition. We only spent 1 night and we didn’t let it ruin our stay in the area but I would not stay there again.

This was the last hotel I stayed in at the tail end of a long road trip. I booked through Hotwire because the prices around the Poconos area were outrageous. I managed to snag a room here for under $200. I don't think I've ever stayed in a Best Western so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The man who checked me in was super friendly and helpful, so that started things off on the right foot. Although I could tell that the building was on the older side, my room was very cute and clean. I found it a little odd that the microwave and refrigerator, etc. were right outside the bathroom, but it was also nice having the refrigerator away from the main sleeping area because sometimes they run loud. I have to give a shout-out to Mr. Shane's, the restaurant attached to the hotel. But I got a burger and fries from there and it was excellent. I think it was the most satisfying meal I had during my whole trip! And who doesn't get a kick out of the giant inflatable Mr. Shane out front?

Very comfortable and well maintained.
Better- than- most complimentary breakfasts. Room was a little too warm,but we are used to sleeping in a cool room.
The luggage carts were hard to maneuver.
No ice machine on our floor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the channel choices on the tv were extensive. I would recommend this property.

I have stayed here twice recently. The staff are all extremely friendly and check in and check out are a breeze. They have a pool, fitness center, bar/restaurant on site, plenty of vending machines, and a few "arcade games". The rooms are clean with a comfortable bed. The mini fridge I had in both rooms wobbled a lot, making it slightly annoying to open and close and there were some minor water spots on the celings but if those are the biggest complaint, I still count that as a win. There are also shops, a movie theater, and restaurants right around the corner and it's right off of the highway for convenience.

This is actually a really good hotel. Just make sure you soecify if you need a pet friendly room in the app under where it asks about special accommodations and stuff or you may run into some troubles. Other than some confusion on that this hotel was pretty awesome. Its quiet enough and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty expensive ut the mozzarella triangles are delicious lol. All in all a good place to go if you're looking for a oet friendly place

I had a very nice stay at Best Western in Matamoras, PA. It is always nice and convenient for me. It is right off of Interstate 84 for easy on and off access. The rooms are nice and the view of the pond in the back is pretty and soothing. It’s great that they have a nice pool as well. The morning breakfast is very good, so good that I don’t go to diners any more on the way home. They do a nice job with it, the coffee is very good, the food is hot and fresh and the dining area is nice, clean and well kept. I always make it a point coming home from VA to NH to stop at Best Western Matamoras PA.
