Delphi Palace

Cet hôtel mérite 4 bulldozers et non 4 étoiles! Tout est vétuste, la piscine est hors service à priori depuis bien longtemps ; le petit déjeuner n’en est pas un; l’établissement semble figé depuis les années 70…. S’il faut trouver du positif disons que le monsieur de l’accueil essaie de palier avec gentillesse mais ça ne suffit pas !!

We are a school trip, we stayed only one day in this "hotel"; one day is enough to understand the degradation of the structure. From the outside, the hotel is already run down and gives the idea of ​​an old and unkept place. As soon as you enter you notice the bad smell of the probably not ventilated room, despite the fact that it was sunny and with a beautiful view. The rooms, if at first glance they may seem spacious, actually looking more closely at the spaces and the furniture, they are very dirty and badly maintained. First of all, we found a lot of mold and organic materials of dubious origin in the bathroom bin; the sheets were stained in multiple places with unidentified red, white and brown stains (probably blood), ripped, with holes in them and speckled with various hairs and dander. Still had dead bugs (a dead spider in the bathroom) DISGUSTING!!!! The device in which the key had to be inserted to make the electrical system work was already precariously taped up when we arrived, and shortly after we stayed in the room it fell off. When we asked for help at the reception we were told that they could not solve it immediately and that they would intervene the next day, leaving us without electricity. We solved the problem by using plasters instead of scotch which they didn't have in the lobby. Still the walls are stained and the furniture ruined and dusty like the rest of the room. The canteen served badly cooked and badly served dishes, and the environment was very hot (as were the rooms) and smelly. We found hair in the dishes, midges in the salad and dirty glasses. The staff was unprepared, slow (it took them 40 minutes to change the dirty sheets, replacing them with equally dirty ones) and inefficient. We attach photos of the various and unpleasant situations. We strongly advise against the place which is absolutely not a four star!

We stayed in this hotel for a school trip, to say horrible is an understatement. The bedroom window didn't close and we had to sleep in the cold; the sheets were stained with blood; the walls were encrusted with mold and the bathroom drain didn't have a filter. during the night my roommate started to feel itchy all over her skin, probably due to mites. The dinner plates were oily and the food bad. In the morning we found a live spider in the room, to make matters worse there is no lift and the bathroom door could not be closed otherwise we would be locked inside. I absolutely do not recommend a stay at this property.

Old and dirty structure: stained carpet (blood?), as well as sheets, towels, blankets. Dead bugs scattered here and there. The staff, to whom the situation was reported, said it was the boys. Better not to add anything else. Indescribable and indecent. I can also add photos....

I have no words because I have never seen this!! reread the opinion of Joêl L which is consistent with what he describes; I'm outraged!! The view from the balcony (be careful it could collapse) is beautiful unless you look down, you will see the advanced state of dilapidation of this pitiful hotel!!! the breakfast terrace (lamentable) does not present any security for customers and especially children: the protective barrier is broken, you take one more step and it's a void! Turn on your heels and take back a room just nearby: the Amalia, which we did!

On the 3rd day of October 28th we decided to go on a trip to the historical Delphi as it was a journey of a few hours from the capital. After a (very) short research we booked in the hotel in question as it was one of the only ones available in the wider area. Arriving at the accommodation we regrettably found that it was a palace... but a palace of the time it was built (1950) as apart from the frames and a few other details, it has not changed at all. Our room must have been closed since last year as only bed linen and towels had been changed. On entering we found 2 dead worms (moisture), an extinguished cigarette in the ashtray on the balcony and a thick layer of dust under the bed. Of course we informed the clerk at the reception and the next day, after returning from our visit to the archaeological site, we found the room spotless, which should have been done before they welcomed us. The only good thing was the view from the balcony where you could see as far as Itea. I am very sorry for these comments.
