Berkshire on the Ocean

This resort had a charming boutique feel, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The service and property maintenance were exceptional throughout our stay. We chose a ground-floor walkout unit, which overlooked the lawn, pool, putting green, and shuffleboard court. The first-floor accommodations offered shaded patios and convenient access to the beach, while the second-floor units featured beautiful ocean views but provided less shade and required climbing stairs. We stayed through a timeshare exchange and were charged a weekly resort fee. The fee included access to cabanas with lounge chairs, daily ice delivery, towel exchange service, coffee and condiments, parking, and various resort amenities. The unit was clean and well maintained. While the décor was somewhat dated, several updates had been made, creating a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Room was extremely clean and staff very responsive. Beautiful beach!! Pretty property!!

Our car was towed from the parking lot of the the hotel. They need to have a sign in the parking lot clearly stating that you need to have a parking pass affixed to your car to prevent towing. The instructions and disclaimer were burried in the paperwork. Besides the hassle, this was an additional cost we did not plan on and the hotel staff was completely unresponsive to our concerns. We thought of going back next year, but now we will not.

Clean room! Constant noise from a/c or dehumidifier. That was the only downside to the room. Location was perfect!

Everything was perfect. (We would have loved a safe box in the room).

Needs updating Upon check-in i had issues, as i was texted a code to a lockbox to receive my room key & when i opened it, there was nothing inside. The office closed at 4pm daily & check in was at 4pm, but after texting & knocking & waiting a few minutes, someone came to the door & checked my reservation, asking if it was under a different name (it wasnt) & when i showed them my phone with texts confirming the reservation, they took a photo of it & then allowed me to come inside while they spent another 5 mins getting me keys. Upon arrival of the room, it looked outdated, even the tv would turn green randomly & had 2 remotes like my grandparents used to have. The blinds were broken & provided poor privacy. The bed was hard & lumpy, making for poor sleep. There were no outlets near the bed to allow my phone to charge at night. The most concerning was the bathroom, where the popcorn ceiling appeared to be covered in mold, possibly because the vent in there was covered in dust & caused poor circulation? There was no ocean view, but it did have access to the beach. Unfortunately couldnt swim due to the massive amount of seaweed (sargassum) in the water & washed ashore. Positives were the AC worked good & the pool was very nice, not sure id stay here again unless they update it

Perfect vacation Amazing stay! Been coming here for a while and it never disappoints! The condo, the service, the staff, the pool..all top notch. I don’t stay anywhere else! Close to everything you’ll ever need.

Its an older hotel but it's kept clean. Quick access to the beach with lounges is great.
