Hotel was not far from the center but also in a quiet place. Also not far from the highway. And not far from departure point of the ferry to Texel

Sembra una esperienza di hotel da incubo, ma senza il lieto fine. Per arrivare dalla reception alla camere... bisogna passare dentro la sala bowling che, tra le altre cose, non è riservata ai clienti. Camere grandi, ma indecenti. Sporche è un eufemismo. Moquette lurida e macchie ovunque. Colazione ai limiti della decenza: scarsa selezione di tutto e altrettanto scarsa qualità delle poche cose al buffet. Francamente è incomprensibile come possa stare aperto. Vivamente sconsigliato.

Bij aankomst meteen warm onthaald met kop koffie en thee. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een echt familiehotel zo voel je dat ook als je naar binnen loopt. Het interieur is warm, gevoel van thuis. zo brengt de eigenaar junior het over naar zijn personeel, waardoor het ook thuis voelt. Ook de kamer en bedden waren goed waardoor ik "duvels" goed heb geslapen😀. Ook alles kan niets hoeft, we komen zeker een x terug gr Frank en Miriam

Het hotel ligt niet zo ver van het centrum van Den Helder. De ontvangst is super: vriendelijk en helpbereid. Na het onthaal kom je in een ietwat vreemde omgeving. Je wandel eerst door een bowlingzaal en daarna door een feestzaal om dan via een trapje je kamer te bereiken. Alles oogt wat ouderwets, maar het werkt. Gelukkig geen ervaring bij een weekend en het gebruik van de feestzaal Het ontbijt is gevarieerd en vers.

Got booked in here as a couldn't make my flight home,pleasantly surprised,very friendly and helpfull staff and a great atmosphere. Looks like a lively place at weekends but am passing through on way home,would happily stay here again,good pint too

Old Hotel, low services, poor heater in the Room, bath room to be renew quickly, dirty Carpet, Poor breakfast ... so many negatives !!!
Positives ... easy parking, available bowling, possibility to have dinner (even if it's not high quality)
Conclusion: need to be closed for Months and totally refresh

Hotel is stuck in the 70's. Indeed through the bowling alley to your room. Staff not flexible at all. Reception was anything but friendly. Always wanted to have the last word. Comments such as first take a walk through Den Helder, because the room is not ready yet, it still hit the wall. Furthermore, the coffee in the room was not replenished and only the towels were changed. bed not straightened or something. After showering you had to breaststroke back to the room. Water goes in all directions. Shower rod loose, etc. Just everything very dated. Not recommended!!!
