Hotel Den Helder

Hotel is stuck in the 70's. Indeed through the bowling alley to your room. Staff not flexible at all. Reception was anything but friendly. Always wanted to have the last word. Comments such as first take a walk through Den Helder, because the room is not ready yet, it still hit the wall. Furthermore, the coffee in the room was not replenished and only the towels were changed. bed not straightened or something. After showering you had to breaststroke back to the room. Water goes in all directions. Shower rod loose, etc. Just everything very dated. Not recommended!!!

Idéal en famille, les chambres sont grandes, beaucoup d activité sur place et possibilité de se restaurer. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, L environnement est beau et accès facile pour aller sur les îles des waden.De plus, le patron Junior est top.

Hôtel atypique, décoration spéciale. Nous y avons séjourné deux nuits avec notre fille de 23 mois. Notre fille a même eu un cadeau et des bonbons. Personnel sympathique pour la plupart des employés. Chambre propre, literie confortable. Bowling et golf pour s’occuper lors des jours de pluie. Déjeuner correct. Nous avons mangé deux fois le soir et c’était bon. Les chiens sont acceptés. Balades pas loin. Coin calme. A recommander. Peut être juste un peu cher niveau rapport qualité prix car le déjeuner n’était pas compris dans le prix de la chambre.

Hotel Den Helder is located just outside the city in a very nice area not far from the sea and has its own parking lot. The hotel is a bit older and has a certain charm. Unfortunately, the age can also be seen in chipped furniture parts (chipping wood), holes in the bed linen (but the laundry is all clean!) and simply carried out repairs. The room was spacious, but the toilet area in the bathroom was very narrow. (When I was sitting, my knees were against the shower partition. I'm 1.73 m tall...) There are a lot of cobwebs hanging in the corner in the lounge area and in the restaurant area. The breakfast is rich and good, as is the food in the restaurant. The team is extremely nice, friendly and helpful and is available to give advice and support. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and the city and the area.

The room was large, but the lighting was very dark. The heating didn't work, even after reporting it. The bathrooms & toilet were not clean. Not all staff can speak English. No kettle.
