Had to leave due to a medical emergency with my daughter. I was told when I left, there was no way to put in their system that I checked out early. That is fine, but I was told on multiple occasions that I would receive a refund for the early departure. Should have known better than to believe that. Of course since I booked with *******, I had to third party everything which made it take way longer than it should. After everything, the manager denied my refund request because, what a shocker, they show that I stayed all nights, which I didn't. I don't even mind them not giving the refund. If it's policy, I can respect that. My issue comes where I get told different things from the staff. Never staying here again and I may have written all this for nothing because I'm deleting my ******* account after this. This happens every time I book through 3rd party.

This was an old hotel that appears they are just covering up the old stuff. The ac in the room did not pull out the humidity. Room smelled musty and therefore put the ac very cold just to not smell the mustiness. The exercise room was non existent. It was piled with all kinds of construction equipment. Website should have mentioned that. That is one of the reasons we chose that hotel. We took our bathing suits thinking after a long drive - the hot tub would feel good and a nice swim. Pics make the pool look lots bigger than it was. It had a few children in pool and was too crowded. The hot tub was not even open. Looked to have a table with some chairs stacked on top of it. Again- no mention of the hot tub being closed…We were there just 2 days but they gave us only 1 tiny bottle of liquid bath soap for 2 people. Only one elevator worked so we spent quite a bit of time waiting on elevator. Breakfast was not really a hot breakfast. Some overcooked scrambled eggs. The tator tots(not hashbrowns) were put in a small section and would last for just a few guests.. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Would I stay here again? Definitely not!!

We came to town to visit our daughter and wanted a hotel near her home, which this one offered. The room was spacious and comfortable enough, however the “remodel” job was very sloppy and poorly done. There was no bedding for the sofa sleeper for my son to sleep on. The bathroom floor had toilet tissue bits on it. Every time we left our room, our room keys deactivated, so we’d have to get them rekeyed every time. We took our son to swim in the pool and man, was it gross. There’s a nasty black ring on the tile just above the water line. The water was dark and cloudy, and the smell in the pool room smelled like a swamp, not chlorine like you’d expect. The blow dryer in our room had the prongs broken off the cord, so we had to ask for a new one.
The beds were comfortable so that was a plus. The room was ok, but seemed not worth the price we paid. Breakfast was inedible… biscuits were hard as rocks, sausage Pattie’s were rubbery, the gravy was straight water, juice was apple flavored water. It was like the food had been severely over microwaved, or left over and reheated repeatedly. We visit Denton regularly and hoped this hotel would suit our needs, but we will not stay here again. Way to expensive for the quality.
